I stayed here for four nights during my trip to leh. They let us have an early check in and didn't charge anything extra. Staff was warm and friendly. Food was okay not anything great. Rooms were warm and cozy. Bathroom didn't have much amenities. Hot water was available throughout. You will have to walk a lot to reach there...

Dear Hanan, Thank You for your kind words and we will definitely keep trying to improve our F&B quality. Our bathrooms were actually a bit behind the times, but we have remodelled most of them completely!

We enjoyed our stay in Mahey very much. In fact we went back a few times in between our trekkings, meditation retreat and motorcycle trip around Leh. The hotel is comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view om the mountains. And with a very nice and quiet garden which we enjoyed since Leh can be quite busy. We also enjoyed...

Good hospitality and sincere service is a hallmark in Leh and Ladhak, the people at Mahey are sincere and within the limitations of running a hotel at 11500 ft do a great job. The rooms are basic, the attached toilets are clean and the food is hot and fresh! The ginger honey tea was excellent!!

Hi Harsh, Thanks a ton for the review. Connectivity has always been negligible and the 3G from BSNL and others are worse than 2G most of the time :(

We stayed at The Mahey Retreat for one week. Nothing was too much trouble for Sanjay Thakur. He runs an excellent hotel with good attentive staff and keeps the rooms and general areas of the hotel spotless. Sanjay also known as Sanju has been the manager for several years and it was obvious that he takes great pride in his...

Hi Susie, Sanju has been a great inspiration for the rest of the team at Mahey and he hopes to see you again, maybe as early as the winters this year :)

Enjoyed staying in this Hotel. Service was very quick and they have good lawn even in congested hill station. Air was cool in the month of July but sunshine is very bright and cause skin burning, if you don't sit under shadow. Ample arrangement has been made by this hotel in the lawn by providing canopy on each table. Although...

Thanks Surinder for the nice words for us. It was unfortunate that you missed visiting Pangong even after paying for the cab, but we hope to amend this on your next trip:)

Super enjoyed our stay at Mahey Retreat. This is more so, as we were staying from 8th to 15th January 2016 when most of the hotels are closed due to extreme winters. Even then, they served great BF, lunch & dinner. They played perfect host and most importantly ensured that heater was on for a sufficient period of time, regularly...

Its a good place to stay. Excellent hospitality with good staff. Its centrally located and has all required facilities to be sought in leh. They have wifi however, most of the time its down as BSNL does not have high speed network in this area. All in all a good place.

We stayed at Mahey for acclimatization purposes this March. It was a very nice hotel with great food and a friendly/helpful staff. They were even available in the middle of the night when my father needed supplemental oxygen. I would definitely recommend this property, and plan to visit again.
