Historical records refer to this place as a sarai built in midst of Persian styled garden Ibrahim bagh during the reign of Ibrahim Qutb Shah. The open air sarai has twelve doorways. The place in recent times has been promoted as open air pavilion or baradari where Abdullah Qutb Shah's favorite courtesan Taramati used to sing and dance and the kind used to listen to her voice sitting at the baradari at Golconda fort The monument is well preserved and is favorite spot for wedding shoots. The garden is well maintained. Part of the complex has been converted into a resort with banquet halls, open air auditorium and a restaurant. We had lunch at the restaurant and the quality was decent
Beautiful property. Staff behavior is good. Rooms should be more neat and clean. The toilet had to be repaired as we reached there. We had to wait for couple of hours. Restaurant is good. mainly south Indian food available. Historical place. Pre-wedding photo-shoot activities are making chaos in the place.
There was a wedding when we were there so we could not enter the grounds. However we managed to visit the Taramati monument on top of the hill and could see the open air theatre from there. Impressive but rubbish was everywhere 😞
Let me split the entire review in 3 segment Stay, Restaurant & Bar. Stay: The room were decent I would not say great nor i would say bad there were big enough (Suite) with Ac and stuff so i would say decent as i would not get a suite in Hyd for 3000/- the negative part is the service in the room was bad. Bar: Its small in size and crowded, however the prices of the alcohol and food is decent enough (I would say its much lower than most of the places in town) but ya the service is something which they can work on. Restaurant: Is big in size but it empty most of the time (Bar and restaurant is located side by side) they have a common kitchen so you have plenty of options in starters but a limited option on the main course. So over all 2.5/5 for service, quality of food 4/5, rooms 3.2/5. Its a huge property so you can go around and there are things created to watch as a hang out place. ** Mobile signal are really weak so if you want to stay away from phone call then this place can help…
On Saturday, I stayed here as a marathon event started at 5:30am on Sunday. The facility is for ordinary 3 star hotel. It was OK. The restaurant is 5 minutes walk away, serving limited varieties of dishes. It was also OK. Some unique features are here such as monuments and a palace like structure on the top of a small hill. Those places are nothing more than a wedding photo sites for couples. A disaster came to me at the end. Here, the mobile signal is very weak, and no wifi service is provided. Then, I asked at the reception to arrange a cab to go back to the airport. The don’t help me. I ended up to carry my suitcase to the main road to call a cab. I will never stay here again.
