I see there have been no reviews of this place for 11 months and therefore I must admit that time has not been kind to this place. We paid nearly 1400L for a tiny double room with a smelly bathroom. We had to switch rooms first as the first option had a ceiling tile missing so the noise from the...

This hotel is on a busy street in the morning lots of cars and trucks honking if you are in a room on the street side. Like many have said try to request a room on the inside of the building. Might be quieter! April 2015 paid 800 LP/nt for a room with a twin and a double size bed...

Hello. Thanks for staying with us. We are located in downtown Tela, in the middle of the business district. Noise in some rooms near the street might get a little high. But we can offer other rooms that are completely silent towards the back of the hotel. We hope to see you soon again. Best regards, Marcello P. Dicunta

The staff couldn't have been nicer. But I wish I had known no one uses insulation in Honduras. I am a light sleep so the noise level made it impossible to sleep. Even in the US I need white noise. At the Hotel Marsol the bars nearby kept me awake until 2 AM then the traffic from 5 AM on....

I stayed in this hotel way back in February 2012 and forgot to wire a review. This hotel was very nice and perfect for earning your PADI Open Water Diving Certification! the views of the city are very pretty, you are close to several restaurants and nightlife, and can walk to the former HQ of the Cuyamel Fruit Company/Banana Republic...

Have been here twice now in the past month, yes its that good. Both times for diving in the attached dive center. This is a great facility with amazing people/customer service. Located close to the beach and market. There are many options provided to customize your Tela experience. I cant say enough about my experiences here, but I can say...

I stayed at Marsol in a single room (full size bed) for 3 nights. Rooms are basic, clean, have a balcony and air conditioning. Breakfast is included, homemade eggs, bread, coffee, and fruit...it's wonderful. I dove with the dive center, one day in Cayos Cochinos (best dive ever) and one day in Tela. The dive instructors are extremely professional and...

Bottom Line Up Front— Nice Hotel, great Staff, great dive experience-Overall great value I was very impressed with my experience at Hotel Marsol this weekend. The hotel was recommended by a travel advisor here on the military base in Honduras where I am working. The convenience of doing my Open Water Dive Certification with the integrated Hotel and dive operation...

Just a dirty, smelly hotel. You certainly can do better than this hotel when staying in Tela. I had heard this was a nice place to stay....maybe these people stayed here a long time ago, or the owners changed, or the manager changed, or because we went in the off season the people there just dont give a darn about...

The Hotel Marsol was a treasure we had not expected. My wife and I decided to go to Honduras last June. We booked a flight and emailed the owner, Marcello, and asked about scuba certification. I regret that I didn't take advantage of the certification course but I am not sorry that we stayed at his establishment. The staff was...

“Ask for a room on the inside of the building. The view isn't impressive anywhere and inside is slightly quieter. If you want a view take a beer to the roof and lounge in the lawn chair with a view of the mountain and the beach 8 blocks apart.”

“I had a double bed room on the street. Wasnt too noisy for being on a street. Maybe the non-street side would be even better. The common area was decorated in a very contemporary manner.”
