A quick trip to Georgia O'keefe country, and a visit to the Ra Paulette Caves found us in Abiquiu, N.M. I was traveling with one of my girlfriends. We needed a place to stay that we could have separate sleeping rooms. Wanda, the gracious host at Abiquiu B&B was closed for the season, but made an exception for us. Lucky...

If you find yourself adrift in northern New Mexico and in need of somewhere to spend the night... you cannot do better than to curl up at the Old Abiquiu B&B. A former Taosena, I've got some snob appeal when it comes to Northern NM - what with its howling pink coyotes, sprawling motels, and over-developed swathes - it's hard...

We stayed two nights (not enough time) with Wanda at her beautiful, gracious and relaxing bed and breakfast. Let's just say we didn't want to leave. From the beautiful setting on the Chama river, the glorious flowers, the interesting SW architecture and art, the privacy and quiet,...perfect. But best of all is Wanda...bright, full of interesting local knowledge, a world...

Wanda is fabulous... Cares about her visitors, and makes them feel very comfortable. Five full nights, and very encouraging and interested in the Abiquiu history and sights of interest in the area. Our daughter really enjoyed her time with Wanda. Thanks.

Contrary to what MtnBikeLife's review( I also heard the other side of the story from Wanda and found out that the bikers did not have to pay but that a donation would be greatly appreciated). I have had a wonderful stay, Wanda is very hospitable and is great to talk to. This B&B is her life and strives to make...

Upon arriving to the B&B, the place was very well kept and surprisingly beautiful. After a long day of cycling the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (from Canada to Mexico), a buddy and I were looking for a place to pitch tents for the night. Mrs Wanda showed us to the pavilion down by the Rio Chama, told us where...

We (my wife and I) were powering along toward Santa Fe, NM when we saw the Albiquiu Inn alongside the road in the middle of nowhere. Being tired from driving, we double-backed for a room and found it affordable and quite nice for the money. It is in the sand wash territory, or desert country, with wonderful light and inviting...

Wonderful place to stay in Abiquiu. Beautiful adobe home and grounds on the Rio Chama. Fantastic breakfasts. Great location - close to Ghost Ranch. The owner, Wanda, is very welcoming and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our two nights at the Old Albiquiu B&B.

Wanda's spectacular adobe (cool on a hot summer's day) beautifully landscaped B&B is truly in the land of the enchanted. It sits above a 90 degree bend in the Chama River with wonderful mountain views. I am a photographer and in three previous trips stayed in Santa Fe and drove about an hour out to Abiquiu and environs for the...

Stayed at the Old Abiquiu B&B for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic location just a short drive from Abiquiu Lake, Cafe Abiquiu, Bode's, Ghost Ranch, and climbing at El Rito, but more private, without oodles of tourists. We stayed in the downstairs suite, which has a private entrance and private bath. It's not a particularly spacious bedroom, but...
