I love this place. Didn't really eat any meals here except a box lunch and it was great after a strenuous hike. The gift store is really charming with some really nice finds. I bought a cool hat, a colorful backpack and some wonderful body butter. The tours are really great and the guides are awesome - don't forget to...

We made a day trip to Ghost Ranch because we had wanted to see where Georgia O'Keefe got her inspiration. The high desert isn't for everyone, but it was for us just like that of O'Keefe. The Methodist Church owns the property, but visitors are welcome to hike, visit the museums and even get something to eat. It was well...

This place is absolutely the best. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. They sent me information packets along with a hand written note; you just don't see this kind of hospitality anymore. We stayed up in cabin called Tumble that had a private bath. The views were amazing! Short walk down the canyon to the dinning hall for breakfast. The...

We arrived before dawn and took pictures as the sun came up. We then had a wonderful breakfast for $4 before taking the Chimney Rocks hike. There are two other hikes and a slew of other things to do including trail rides, tours of the main sites of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, and tours of the main sites where movies were...

We stayed 6 nights at Ghost Ranch. It was beautiful. The food was ok, our room was small and the bed hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom isjubig enough for the stool and a shower. This little room had a double and a single bed , but almost no room for storage. It had no extra room.hard. The bathroom was just...

I think your perception of Ghost Ranch as a place to stay depends - a great deal - on what you are looking for in your stay and the type of accommodations you have while there. If you are not comfortable being disconnected from the outside world and find life without TV or reliable wi-fi and cell service unbearable, then...

We were with a private group of 30 guests. We stayed five nights in Coyote. Our very basic, clean and plainly furnished room included a front sitting area and back bedroom and bath. No air conditioning which was inconvenient as it was quite hot. The service was almost non-existent which complicated things when the Coyote community room water cooler ran...

Beautiful and serene area. Only had an hour or so and stopped here as it had been about two decades since prior visit. Went to the 'Welcome Center' and gave the suggested donation fee for four adults and received information and a map from a well-informed woman. We were not prepared for a hike either time-wise or in footwear. The...

I visited Ghost Ranch with a group of young people from my church, and it was extremely disappointing. The entire experience was unwelcoming and the staff was abrasive. Our activities were completely disorganized and the staff was rude and dismissive of their shortcomings. We had reasonable expectations for the "rustic" accommodations, but our building (lodging 20 people) didn't even have...

Impossible to get reservation. Repeated and repeated phone calls, emails not returned, no info available on website (there is a new website up NOW). People in office had no clue who had any information. I was at a conference, not on retreat, and needed phone service. It was non-existent for many providers, WIFI totally disfunctional. No room key or packet...
