This hotel is very worth the value. It's on the water, with great snorkeling up the road only a short distance. Friendly staff, amazing shower (pressure), great sunsets, great swimming. What's not to like? We will stay again. The best hotel for the price on the whole island in our opinion. Huge difference in price for hotels around the island...

Had a fabulous stay at Daku, we ate at the resort, the food was lovely (curry on Indian themed evening - unmissable). Went on a snorkelling trip one day from the resort beach which we would highly recommend! Pool was perfect after a day out or even for a whole day in the sun. Didn't want to leave! The resort...

Amazing experience at daku resort. We volunteered at the local hospital and were able to use the resort. There is plenty of trips to do from the resort including snorkelling with George ! We also enjoyed an Indian themed evening meal. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and all in all we had a fabulous time!

After a short stay on Treasure Island resort we were delighted to finally discover real Fiji. This is an idyllic corner of the country that deserves more visitors. We flew into Labasa and in a local taxi drove across the island to Savusavu. It was a beautiful drive we stopped halfway to eat lunch and a local cafe at which...

Just back from a one week stay - for the second time - at Daku Resort. Two and a half years after my first visit the place is good as I remember, the staff just as friendly and welcoming and the food even better. Other highlights were the beautiful water views, fantastic massages and best of all the nightly 'family'...

Have been going through SavuSavu for over 30 years and never stayed in town. This place is a gem, quiet and lush with a view of SavuSavu Bay that is unparalleled. My wife and I enjoyed two days just before the May rush, had the place to ourselves. The ocean view bure, with its amenities including thick white towels, was...

We stayed at Daku for 7 nights as part of a dive package and had an amazing time. We stayed in an ocean view bure which was down by the water where you could step off the balcony and in 30 steps be in the ocean. The room was clean and well serviced. The thing that I feel really sets...

We stayed 7 nights and booked as a package with 5 days of 2xtank scuba diving with Namena. The great discounted price was what made us go with this option. However there are more luxurious room options too. J.J. and his wife Delia (the resort owners) are super friendly and are the reason we would choose Daku again if returning...

Our experience began with a warm greeting by Delia on arrival. We stayed in one of the villas on the hillside with magnificent elevated views across the bay and out to sea. The two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and the communal lounge/kitchen provided a home away from home feel (read - much needed privacy for Mum and Dad...
