Came back from a week here early this morning. Have been to Sharm several times before, and most hotels similar. Coming out of season meant no problem with sun beds and swimming. Snorkelling was great and most days there was an amber flag, so we could snorkel - need sea shoes but this is normal for any sand near a coral reef . Hotel grounds good. Staff very polite and friendly except those at Reception. My other half enjoyed using the gym daily. Food was good and although similar there were enough different options to eat different every lunch and dinner, we enjoyed the Egyptian night and our one a la carte experience at Sofra. Room good size, very clean but dated. Not enough sockets and had to use plug in bathroom to charge electrical items. The safe in the room held together with sellotape but did work eventually. Entertainment was good but often felt left out due not being Russian. Staff at the main restaurant excellent and the chefs, we liked the tip boxes as hard to pick one individual. Good location for shops and you have to visit George Clooneys hyper market. The WiFi was awful and hard for keeping in touch with family, or my other half, checking essential emails. Having stayed at other hotels locally, the Wi-Fi was genuinely the worst. We used Egyptian pounds and were often asked by staff to change £1 coins, so don’t tip these please. They can’t use them, only notes and £5 is a lot to tip for many people, much better to do 50 LE (which is around £2). There is an ATM in the Business Centre where you can get LE out and also change different currencies through Forex. Not coming back to Sharm el Sheikh but not a bad location for anyone looking to visit.

We were looking forward to coming back here since our last visit when the hotel was then Magic Life (Not just a name change). Last time the hotel was amazing and had the best time unfortunately the experience was not the same this time around. The rooms - Are quite small but OK as you don't spend a lot of time in them. The balcony is a good size. The rooms are in desperate need of upgrade. The TV is too small to see from the bed. In fact our TV in our caravan at home is bigger. Bars - I can tell cut backs have been made here as drink quality is poor. Pool - big activity pool but even though the temperature was 30 degrees the pool was freezing. Food - we were here 7 days and apparently is not long enough to get a reservation in one of the speciality restaurants. The main buffet restaurant is very standard and again you can tell the chiefs do what they can with the quality of food they are given as the food is not good quality and this continues to the snack bar. Even if you think "well if all else fails they have pizza" the pizza quality is poor and everythung seems very oily and the vegetables are cooked in a lot of butter and salad selection is bleek. The sea - always choppy and no good unless your a confident swimmer. The beach - If you have beach shoes take them with you the sand is gritty as it is everywhere in Sharm. You can also buy these in or around the hotel and they're a good price. Local area - Very good location. One of the best in Sharm. Lots of shops and bars and restaurants all in walking distance. Hard Rock Cafe does nice food for a very good price (a lot cheaper than UK) and is about a 15 minute walk away. Currency - in future I will not exchange money to Egyptian pounds as everything is priced in euro or dollars - just make sure you have the right amount to pay with so they don't give Egyptian pounds as change. The staff - without a doubt made our holiday. They work every single day with no day off. They're always smiling and work extremely hard. The staff are absolutely amazing and deserve a lot better! Out of 5 staff members we spoke to in all different areas of work said they feel like they're in prison. They work very long hours with no days off for very little wages. Speaking to them actually made me cry because they are truly the nicest people and the Jaz group has completely ruined this hotel and have turned it into what can only be described as a MODERN SLAVERY CAMP. Sorry Magic World but you do NOT deserve the staff you have got! They're truly as asset to your hotel and every single one of them want to leave (I don't blame them) if you carry on like this you are going to lose all your amazing, experienced and best staff and the hotel will get worse if that happens. I wish the staff all the luck in the world in future! You're all amazing. Jaz group - people are returning back here expecting the Magic Life experience and seeing that this is Magic Worlds apart. We will not be returning to this hotel but we definitely be back to Sharm. Its one of my favourite places in the world.

Regarding the pool, let us note that the heating depends on the weather conditions and usually it turns on in November when the air temperature drops to +27°C. The work schedule of hotel employees in Sharm El Sheikh and other resort cities is meant on a rotational basis, when 20 working days are replaced by a one-week vacation. Came here as a couple on 9th October 2022 for a birthday trip and a week away. After reading reviews on here before going I was a little wary of what we had booked. On arrival, we were checked in swiftly and taken to our room with a map and restaurant details on a golf buggy (it's a big resort). The room was nice and Egyptian style as expected but could do with a few paint touch-ups to make it a little more neat looking. TV, safe and fridge all working and great. We did request to have a duvet put on the bed as I cannot sleep with just a sheet and this was delivered the same day after speaking to customer relations. We spent most of our time round the pool which was clean and looked after by the bar staff who regularly bring you cold water and ask if you want a drink, lifeguards who are always on the look out and friendly to chat to, and the cleaners who you see working hard all around the resort keeping it tidy. There were some cracks in the pool and some rust marks but nothing dangerous or offputting. It was also a nice temperature. The beach, you 100% need beach shoes with a good soles. It's quite rocky walking in and up and down but worth going in for a warm swim or snorkel. Lots of beautiful fish to see. Unfortunately, the red flag was up every time we went to the jetty so were unable to get in the deep bit. One night during your stay you can go to a specialty restaurant and e went to the beach bar one (I cannot remember the name) but it was BEAUTIFUL! food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Staff again, friendly and pleasant. The main restaurant also has themed nights which is good as it mixes it up, the food is mixed with different varieties but with a good choice for fussy eaters too. We didn't sit inside as it was so warm outside we wanted to enjoy being able to sit outside and didn't realise there was a smoking area and non-smoking area outside, not that it bothered us but if it does, there are options. The bars are brilliant. Iced coffee is to die for and the tequila sunrise too! 2Also the mocktails are so refreshing to have around the pool and even at night. The staff were brilliant, always smiling, good to chat to and have a laugh with but also very, very busy! Outside the resort is a strip of shops. We ventured out to the George Clooney shop which was good. No hassling and a good range with good prices. We also ventured further down which got a little bit more erm...bad. Everyone leering at you and also a shop owner trie to trap us in his bag shop. After this scary incident, we came straight back to the hotel. We did a sunrise quad bike tour booked via trip advisor too and would thoroughly recommend that! Sharm airport is a shambles but that is nothing to do with the hotel, just an FYI. I would come back to the hotel as a 4* and with a 4* price however having been to Makadi spa previously I know it isn't a 5*.

The rooms are in need of refurbishment. All public areas are great, including the gardens. The staff are excellent and remember your drinks etc. We were there for two weeks and the food was very good, plenty of choice and the egg man was lovely. The down side was the mosquitoes (everybody had bites) and the noise levels and flashing lights for the evening entertainment were unacceptable. We managed one speciality restaurant in the first week (which wasn't as good as the main restaurant) and the second weeks choice was booked up, even though we went to guest relations at 9 am on Monday morning, she could only book us in on the Sunday we were going home.

We last stayed here back in 2014, and the place was amazing. So we were more than happy to visit again. BUT.....I can tell you not one thing that we saw has been updated, beyond a rebrand by Jaz from Tui Magic Life to Jaz Magic World. The place is in need of an overall a lick of paint, fix the electrics and plumbing (one night we had no water for a shower) couple of the onsite shops were closed and clearly have been for a while. The food was repetitive and not particularly nice. The attitude of most of the staff, was that of dismissive teenager (there were exceptions to this) There is so much choice for hotels in Sharm, and I recommend you pick another.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week in November. Here is an honest review of the hotel. Hotel/rooms: we loved the hotel!! It’s a bit dated in the bedrooms but all the facilities were there, including safe and mini fridge! Bed was so comfy and air con was good! The grounds of the hotel were well maintained and pretty. There’s a ‘magic’ tower with access to go up which gives you the best views of the sunset! It’s a huge restart and the rooms had really big balconies /terraces. Security is really tight to get in and out of the hotel so it felt really safe. WiFi isn’t brilliant but you can connect in certain areas more than others, we actually quite enjoyed not being on our phones for a week… Pool/beach: take snorkels and sea shoes and go snorkelling in the sea. It’s amazing with hundreds of fish swimming around, it was so special. You can either go down the jetty if you’re a strong swimmer, or walk from the shore into the middle where it’s shallow. The sea is clear and warm too! The pool was great, it’s huge and clean! The team at the pool bar were always on hand to make you drinks and even delivered them to the sunbeds. Cold bottles of water available to help your self too as well as coffees and smoothies! Lifeguards we’re all friendly too. Food: food was good! They do themed nights, our favourite being the Egyptian night where they had big kebabs and traditional Egyptian puddings on offer which was so nice. They do grilled meat and fish every day which was always tender and nice. We didn’t care much for breakfast and there is a beach bar which does food too but we didn’t enjoy as much as the normal restaurant. I just wish the ice creams were bigger and more readily available. Entertainment: the entertainment team are great!! They do loads of activities in the day and put on good shows at night, every night was something different and they really do put so much effort in. We enjoyed the Latin night where they got a band in to do live music & the burlesque show they did in the amphitheater. The bar team at the terrace are the best team in the hotel. They make great cocktails and will come round and keep your glasses topped up!! Location: well located! Close to the airport with a short transfer time. There’s the Hard Rock Cafe which is a 15 minute walk away which does good food/cocktails if you were to fancy a change of scenery. There’s also a casino 5 minutes away which we went to one evening which was good fun. Some shops across the road as well as a pharmacy.

I took my three children to magic world along with my mum in October. Beautiful grounds and such hard working staff. We were never bored and the food was gorgeous. WiFi is terrible, so bad that you will not be able to use it during your stay, I think my daughter connected once or twice for a minute. A big thank you to Islam in the magico restaurant, he went above and beyond for us, always making sure our mealtimes were amazing, we were really sad to say goodbye. There is a chef who makes omelettes each morning and he made such an effort with my son who is 8, he really loved his morning omelettes 😊 Alaa at the pool bar and his team are so lovely. Alaa would make me surprise cocktails each day which were fabulous. Now a couple of bits that really upset us during the stay- There is a waiter in the main restaurant, he is about 40, overweight guy. He kept approaching my 16 year old daughter and making her extremely uncomfortable. He would make gestures behind the wall and she actually dreaded seeing him to the point I made a complaint and he was told to stay away, which he ignored and continued to say inappropriate comments and laugh. Other staff apologised for his behaviour and I think its terrible that a grown man would be so crude towards a child. It really ruined the beautiful experience. There is also a lifeguard in the activity pool who is very hands on with the girls and I was warned about him. My mum had an issue with her key card never ever working, it was replaced so many times. We would get the the top floor and then it wouldn't work so then have to repeatedly go to the lobby to replace it which wasn't great. We were told it was because she had it next to her phone but I kept it next to my key in my bag and mine never had an issue. Eventually maintenance came and replaced the lock battery which helped for a while. Just a frustrating thing. Her room also flooded as the air con leaked through the ceiling, luckily we had not unpacked at that point or her belongings would have been soaked as it leaked into the wardrobe. There was also an accident at the pool, I had told the staff that the grate was loose at the side of the pool and he came over to fix it. Two minutes later my mums leg went through the grate and was stuck, I had to prise the grate off her cut leg, her knee was completely swollen The staff were really helpful but if this was a child it would have been so much worse so please take care at the pool side. So a beautiful setting and some amazing staff, just unsure about returning due to the unwelcome attention 😞 this would have been 5 stars from me but like I say, I dont feel the situation was taken seriously and this would affect my decision to rebook.

Only the animation team, the top maintained garden and the waiters can really shine here, the rest is in need of renovation. The beach is really a pity, because you can hardly swim. Short drive (15 minutes) from the airport. The beach is really bad. No sandy beach but rather gravel with many stone slabs at the sea. Many have hurt their feet there. Coral reef was accessible by a very long jetty and was nice. You could not really swim there, but rather only snorkel. Outside the hotel it looks very unkempt, everything is broken and the stores have five times the prices as in other tourist countries. You get ripped off all the time. I had to change rooms twice after arriving during the night because in the first room the air conditioner made a loud sound every second and in the second room the toilet could not be flushed and I got two single beds instead of a double bed. The mattress and pillows are very hard, the sheets are extremely thin so you get cold at night. The bathroom looks like it is from the 70's with clear signs of wear and there is no toilet brush. There is no German TV program. The most unfriendly check-in I have ever experienced in a hotel. Many thanks to Marwan for that. I had to wait until half past five in the morning for a room, which then did not even have a working toilet. WiFi was an absolute joke. The independent setup did not work at first after instructions, so you always had to go to the reception. There is NO internet in the rooms. In many public areas like the pool and beach, the wifi almost never works. When it does work it is too bad to make a WhatsApp call to someone. This is extremely ridiculous for 2022. I had to buy an Internet SIM card for 30€. The waiters were often very nice, especially Moustafa and Islam were very eager to provide a good service. Many thanks to the waiters in general. I had diarrhea and stomach cramps one week out of two from eating. Everyone I spoke to was very dissatisfied with the food at the buffet. It was mostly nicely arranged, but almost never really tasted good. The meat was often so dry and hard that you could hardly cut it. Every day there were small variations of the dishes, but mostly basically the same. There was no mayonnaise and generally very few sauces. In the A-la-Carte restaurant (once a week included) you could eat very well. There it tasted really good and fresh. Even the meat was very tasty there. I can highly recommend Sofra. Very good animation team, with really great people from all over the world. Special thanks to Courtney, Ianina, Diyana, Vlad, Sveta, Jackson and Ulyana. The DJ going there was unfortunately not good. He completely ignored music requests, even if you asked for it for your birthday. The evening program was mostly dance shows with among others a great Moulin Rouge dance show or a good beach party. There are many sports activities offered by the animation team. Unfortunately, however, many guests are lazy, so that not everything has always come to fruition because of too few players. Unfortunately, there is no real disco with dimmed lights where everyone dances, but if you dance then on the stage in front of everyone else in the Terace bar, where the shows are usually in the evening. This leads to the fact that many do not dare to dance on such a stage and you are watched while dancing. The spa area is extremely expensive at 90£/€ for 50 minutes of massage. If you ask for a discount you can get the price down to 70€ for 50 minutes of massage, which is still double the usual spa prices. The hotels guest service employees are nice.

We stayed at Magic World for 3 days. The pool was fantastic and clean. The entertainment was really good and keeps you going. A few things we were very disappointed at staying at Magic World: 1) There are no proper blankets on the bed. It was just a sheet. Not standard hotel blankets so we were quite cold at night. 2) The receptionist did not really give us a clear insight into what to expect in the resort. We had a basic breakfast, lunch, and dinner itinerary but we were not aware of the entertainment schedule in the resort as it was not clearly communicated. Overall, it was a pleasant hotel to stay at with an ideal location (very close to the airport) but personally, I would try to stay somewhere else just for the sheets alone.
