Nestled in a prime location, Dreams Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh comes highly recommended for its clean and comfortable accommodations, with guests particularly enjoying the snorkeling and diverse dining options. While the lively atmosphere, complete with live music, adds to the charm, some visitors have encountered aggressive sales tactics nearby. The staff's friendly and attentive service often receives accolades, although experiences can vary. Although the decor may show its age and opinions on value for money are mixed, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the resort are consistently celebrated.

This was my first solo trip so was a little apprehensive. From the moment I got into the hotel I was met by friendly faces. As I had got there in the evening 9.40pm and dinner service was about to finish. I was told to leave my cases and to go into get some dinner and I could check in after. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to see bottled water in the fridge and tea and coffee was stocked well. The room was cleaned daily and the guy cleaning it was lovely and helpful and always left a lovely design with the bedding. If I saw him in the morning he would always ask if I needed anything else and always left extra water in the room for me. I had a lovely garden and sea view room 1608 and was away from entertainment so was relatively quiet. The pool area was quiet in the mornings but much busier in the afternoons as I quickly realised this was due to other travellers coming up from the beach as the sun had gone down however there were more than enough sun beds to cater for this. As a first time solo traveller I was made to feel very comfortable especially when dining. I was greeted personally each day in the dining hall by Besso (food and beverage manager), George, Mina and was always asked if I was enjoying my meal and could they get me anything. On my last day when the wrist bands were taken off at noon, I wasn’t being picked up until 3.45pm and sat in the main reception I was approached by Besso and asked if I wanted some lunch or a drink. As I declined he insisted I have something and brought me some fruit and tea into the reception which I know he didn’t need to do this. This for me speaks volumes! I have stayed in a lot of hotels and I really couldn’t fault the staff at this hotel. I was met by smiles all week. The food was varied and plentiful. I personally loved the variety of salads with everything for everyone. I’m not a pastry person however at breakfast there was the largest choice I have ever seen and even I was tempted!! The only downside was the amount of Russians and they can be very rude to the staff which annoyed me but I imagine this is in all around Egypt! I signed up to the 3 day Spa and enjoyed the sessions however you do need to let the receptionist know what you expect I.e. deep tissue, relaxing massage as the masseuse don’t speak English well. I did this on my 3rd occasion snd had a fab massage as requested. I also went on a day boat trip and had the best day snorkelling and diving which was magnificent and would highly recommend. The guides were great and made the day during the trip fun and everyone was included! Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning again

I stayed at Dreams Beach Resort for five days and took accommodation with breakfast and dinner only. It seemed like a good choice to me because I usually eat twice a day, don't drink alcohol and don't like snacks all day. It was a surprise to me that only water was allowed in the restaurant during the meal. In the morning I had to make coffee in the room and in the evening I had to buy coca cola from a shop 10-minute walk from the hotel. It was so uncomfortable that I gave up hotel meals in the last few days. The second memorable incident was on the first morning. I didn't know what time breakfast was over and I was three minutes late. I saw the food, but nothing was allowed to be taken. Fortunately, there was again one shop on the street where the owner offered morning coffee. Such restaurant rules were surprising to me. The positive thing was that I lost a pound in five days.

On the plus side, the room was big and clean enough and had everything I needed. The balcony had beautiful sea view. The area of the hotel was clean and flowery, and the biggest plus was two well-fed cats who interacted with people in a friendly way. Keep these cats, they know how to make guests feel welcome!

Dear Piret, thank you for choosing Dreams Beach Resort and for taking the time to post your kind review. It was a great pleasure to host you and we are pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would like to clarify that Half board means breakfast and evening meal (dinner). Your mid-day meal (lunch) and drinks (apart from tea, coffee, juice etc at breakfast) are not included and cost extra. Some resorts provide water at meal times (including Dreams Beach Resort), at others guests have to pay for it. We hope to host you again soon and remain at your service. Best Wishes.

My husband and I vacationed together in this hotel from May 8 to May 18, 2024. We arrived at the hotel at seven in the evening, there were no problems with check-in, there were problems with the room itself, the request for a room with one bed was answered, only for an extra charge per day for $10, they refused, they moved two. The room has old terrible furniture, the refrigerator is dying, dirt, dust, you can see on the balcony only when the hotel opened, no slippers, no bathrobes, but there are plenty of soapy ones😂, even toothbrushes and paste. Safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV worked. For a dollar a day they began to tidy up with more, water 1.5 liters every day, a minimum set of tea and coffee with a kettle. There is enough food in the main restaurant, but everything is tasteless, a lot of different mishmash like stew (recycling of what was left uneaten from last time); fruits: pineapple, orange, bananas, peaches, all unripe, soaked in syrups. A couple of times there were watermelons, they were given in portions, this is a separate story, how they pour it into ours and yours (the Arabs). Only the evening grill deserves praise - all the meat was gorgeous. There is no coffee machine, the coffee they serve here is simply not drinkable. Of the 4 a la carte restaurants, only 2 are open - grill and fish. All drinks in restaurants and bars: Fanta, cola, Sprite and “juices” like UPPI (there is no trace of packaged ones) are given out in portions, nothing is freely available, you can’t come up to pour it yourself, you have to wait in line. They are poured into reusable plastic glasses, which are cracked and chipped; if there is a shortage, the glasses are hastily washed in cold water right there. The sea is beyond praise, the rocky locations are gorgeous. The beach is small, there are not enough sun loungers and umbrellas near the sea. Half of the umbrellas are without cover. Beach towels at the pool were changed without any problems. No animation, boring. There is absolutely nothing for children, the club is closed. The attitude towards Russian speakers is biased; Arabs and a few foreigners are held in high esteem. Wi-Fi throughout the entire territory is excellent. The hotel has a maximum rating of 3, I do not recommend it.

Just returned back from DB resort.
To be honest no clue
where all this good reviews coming from...
The hotel itself had been a good one may be 10 years ago, you could see it...
The hotel failed to mention to its potential guests that it undergose construction works.Several days in a row I had been woken up in the morning by the noise related to works carried out.
I will mention positive things about our stay as there not much.
1. The room was good size cleaned every day supplied with fresh towels, water bottles, tea, shampoo, bath gel, tissues.
2. Restaurant staff did their best to keep guests happy, if you give "bakshish" just a few dollars you will be treated like VIP customer.
3. The sea was warm with various beautiful fish.
Now about things which had to be improved in order to prove that the hotel deserves 5 stars.
1. Food- quality below average
2. Local alcoholic drinks at bars- better to be avoided, although beer is not too bad. At bars drinks where served in plastic glasses which were filthy.
3. Internet is available at lobbi only,so you can imagine how crowded it could get.
4. Entertainment only for Russian speakers.
If you not Russian speaker you will feel excluded.
5. Staff have really good level of Russian language and almost very limited of other languages. Everyone expects you to speak Russian, so if you're plannig your visit make sure that you learn at least some basic words.
To conclude my review must say that I will not be returning to this hotel.

Well where do I begin we arrived midnight and was told to get a snack at the late restaurant omg it was stale bread and a soup horrible we walked back out. Check in to our rooms ( sea view) which we didn’t get, the rooms were so dirty the dust the rug had, I don’t know what on it!! the bathroom was disgusting and as it was late we went next morning to ask to be moved to the rooms we had paid for (sea view) we were told no as there wasn’t any left. The cleaner was so hard to find, never left any clean towels and if and when you needed your beach towel changed, waited nearly 3 days no joke . The whole hotel is filthy from the pools to the restaurant . The all inclusive is a joke, have to pay for small bottles of water you can’t get a beer until 1pm till 11pm the food is rotten we ate out a lot I’m not picky but it was so bad . The pools were closed 3 days out of the 7 for hours there are hardly and comfortable sitting areas in the shade if you want to get out of the sun . We asked for a late checkout but was told no we would have paid but still said no and as soon as 12 came your band is cut off so you can’t get a soft drink or anything. The managers are so rude I’ve never been to a hotel so bad and this is my 14th time in Sharm. Avoid this hotel so you don’t have your holiday ruined.

It’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel but it was far from it. The rooms were very dirty and dusty and we paid extra for a sea view we didn’t get. We asked for a new room and the staff don’t speak English and are very stand off ish and forgetful and rude. Only got a new room because our tour representative spoke to them. That room was better but still not the 5 star we were hoping for. On the other hand, the hotel amenities were really good. It was very very big, lots of places to explore which was fun. They have a pool, spa, ping pong , tennis court, multiple restaurants, an outdoor theatre etc..There isn’t a beach but they tried their best to make the most of the area. There is a cove cut out of the mountain overlooking the sea which is cool and snorkelling opportunities too. The whole hotel is very accessible and disabled friendly with ramps everywhere and ground floor rooms with bathrooms designed with the disabled in mind. The buffet was a good selection , really enjoyed the food there. There is a private taxi service which is quite cheap and will take you as well as pick you up from wherever you go. Overall, the place is a little run down, maybe just needs some maintenance to bring it back to life. Compared to other resorts in the area it’s not the best. Aside from the rooms, it’s a very big and beautiful resort.

My family and I checked into the hotel on 16 February 2023 for one week. We stayed in rooms 1705, 1709, and 1717.

The rooms were cleaned and presented to a high standard and had everything you could need - bath robes, toiletries, a safe, bathroom scales etc… The beds were comfortable and the terrace was lovely. The terrace in rooms 1705 and 1709 were slightly nicer as they benefitted from the sun all day. The house keeper was friendly and helpful and made up the rooms beautifully every day and entertained my daughter with the beautiful towel animals!

The food was varied and delicious in L’Opera Restaurant at all meal times. The breakfast omelettes and pancakes were particular favourites of ours! The Grill House restaurant next to the beach was exceptional for lunches and the grill evening meals.

Down on the beach there were many quiet areas and plenty of sun loungers to choose from. The service from the beach bar next to the spa was amazing. The staff working at this bar and in the grill restaurant are a credit to the hotel and are some of the nicest people we have met in Egypt.

The lobby bar service was also exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely people. The staff at this hotel were very easily the best aspect of this hotel.

We didn’t engage much with the entertainment, however the entertainment staff worked hard to accommodate all nationalities and were friendly. There was a frequent singer in the lobby bar in the evening who deserves a special mention as she sang beautifully.

The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport and only 5 minutes from Old Market and 10 minutes from Naama Bay. There is a good taxi service from the hotel which is very reasonably priced.

I would recommend this hotel and we will be returning in the future.

We are still in the hotel (myself and my 9 year old son). We bought all inclusive holiday from EasyJet for half term getaway. After reading the reviews we were prepared for the worst. Unfortunately, all the negative reviews about this hotel’s true. The rooms are clean but very old and outdated, everything is falling apart. The staff is over worked and very rude and often get annoyed when you asked for something. They will smile back only when you tipped them. The hotel have few swimming pools and they are good and well looked after. The gardens are great. The aqua park they advertising is a joke. The place is so old and only half of the slides are working. In fact the electricity is constantly cutting off the slides working for maximum a hour a day if you are lucky. The sea is over the road and not very safe when crossing with a child. The water in the sea is clean and very clear with lots of colourful finishes . Worse bringing the snorkelling gear. The bar on that beach is not included on all inclusive basis and a pint of beer is cost 5 USD, 2 scoops of ice cream cost 3 USD, water cost 1.5 USD. There is no ice cream in the hotel at all. At breakfast no fresh pan cakes, and the cereals selection is almost nonexistent. There are lots of variety of bread but no butter for lunch or dinner. The fruits and vegetables selection is pretty poor. Mexican restaurant is no longer exist. The Italian restaurant is not great (really bad for our taste).. They drinks are served in tiny take away paper cups (all drinks)…. and if you ask to be served in proper glass then they get angry for some reason. Possibly because they don’t want to wash up. They serve men first and ignore women all together. In fact they pretend not to notice you, so dehumanising. I paid for my holiday same price as for two adult, and my kid barely eat or drink anything but they treat me like I don’t deserve anything. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just returned from a really lovely week's stay at Dreams Beach. On arrival we received a warm welcome from all the staff and shown to our room which was clean and kept this way every day by the housekeeping team.
The Grill House restaurant (lunch and evening meals) is nicely set out and all the staff, in particular Amir, were always so polite and helpful. Occasionally some of the food wasn't perhaps as hot as it could have been, however there was a good variety to choose from and, as a picky eater I always found something to my liking. The desserts counter always plenty to choose from as well and were delicious. Breakfast again provided a wide variety of options with Amir, the chefs and all the other staff always on hand being polite and helpful. Unfortunately we were unable to try the Italian restaurant as following a brief rain shower all the restaurants had to be closed (no solid roofs!!). However, we were contacted in plenty of time and advised that meals would be available in the sister hotel next door and a shuttle bus would take us there. We had another lovely meal and were advised that breakfast would also be there. The team work that all the staff showed to be able to sort all this out in a short space of time was fantastic, thank you.
We particularly liked the large number of different areas to sit around the hotel depending on what level of interaction you want. We preferred the quieter end down by the coral reef and spent many enjoyable hours snorkelling, sunbathing and generally watching the world go by. The coral reef is beautiful and we saw so many beautiful fish, even treated to seeing an octopus only a few feet away from the walkway across the coral, a Spotted Eagle Ray swimming about over the shallows and an Osprey catching fish just off the jetty! Just be aware that if you aren't a confident swimmer the swell can occasionally be quite strong but it is still possible to hold on to the ladder or posts and see some fish.
The hotel was quiet but that suited us just fine. We had a fantastic stay and would certainly think about coming back again in the future.
Thank you Dreams Beach for everything.

Let's start with the fact that upon entry you fill out the documents yourself. At the reception there is an active look of hectic work. The room has dirty floors, other people's hair is lying around, there is dust and dirt everywhere. The hairdryer didn't work. The rooms are old, in general, the furniture is shabby. Problems at the reception begin to be solved only after you begin to get angry and swear. The rest of the time the teeth speak. The problem with the hairdryer was resolved only the next day, and only after talking with the guide.
The plates in the restaurant are dirty. The bar serves drinks in plastic glasses, which they simply rinse in front of you in a second, and it doesn’t matter that they are really dirty and have traces of drinks from previous users.
In one day I already managed to get poisoned, although I didn’t eat anything supernatural
The omelette is prepared in front of you wearing gloves, which he also wears when he sits on his phone, reaches into his bag, etc.
Some waiters pretend they don't hear you. And when I asked to bring a drink, one of them said go yourself.
The service is disgusting. One of the advantages is the beach, BUT it is half closed, part of it is blocked by sun loungers and ropes. The territory is large, you can find a place to your liking. And that's the only plus
