I came here yesterday and before we went to our room we went eating. The food was very poor and I found nothing to eat . They probably have a very low budget for this food. When we went to our room the floor was very dirty , there was no soap and the floor was broken. We told him to clean the floor and when he did he used the dirtiest towel ever found on earth. He also told us to us schampo as hand soap. We thought that we weren’t gonna stay in the room so much so we changed and went to the pools and we walked there and the 2 kids pool was green which could be very dangerous and you could get poisoned. We went on to the aqua park and it was so crowded and there was no aqua slide ring to sit on while sliding down. We even saw someone hold 3 rings at the same time while sliding. We went to the Red Sea beach and even that was so bad I’ve seen better in a lake in Sweden. We went back to the pool and saw someone spill cola in the pool . Every day at 7 pm they spray mosquito spray without warning and just scream at us to get inside. After that we insisted to get our money back to go back to the hotel that costs the same but it so much better but they told us to contact the company we booked at. We sent them pictures and videos of this disgusting hotel and we still don’t know if we’re getting our money back. After that night we booked another hotel because we couldn’t stay here. HOTEL THATS 30 MINS AWAY AND HAS NO PROBLEMS : arabella beach resort Don’t book this hotel unless you want to suffer…
I saw a few reviews before we went but thought they were being pretty harsh, I was wrong. We arrived on a Wednesday and were immediately disappointed. We got to our room to find that the safe did not work and neither did our electricity. The staff were apologetic, sent a new safe up, and said they would send an electrician up while we were at the pool. After arriving at 5pm, all we wanted was working air con, however we were still left with no lights and no AC at 8pm. The electrician finally turned up and fixed it - but I then found out the balcony door did not lock. After telling reception that I just wanted a new room, they took our old key off of us and took us to look at the new room. When we went back down to reception, they asked for our old room key (which they had just taken) and insisted we had lost it. When we argued and asked to see the cameras, they told us "unfortunately, they arent working today" and laughed at us. He then told us that he was the manager, and if we wanted to get our suitcases out of our old room, we needed to pay them £10. After 14 hours of travelling, all we wanted was to go to bed so we gave him the money and moved rooms. The 'manager' was called Hashem and I will put a picture of him in the review. Horrible man!!!!!! The swimming pools got more and more green every day! We all got sick and this was probably the reason. I even have a video of them pouring chemicals into the pool with people still in it! A lot of the staff were lovely and treated us so well. Our cleaner, Taha, was amazing. The entertainment team (Hady, Mohammed and Mohammed, Sherif, Sam and Talia) were so good and made our holiday 10x better. However, one lifeguard took one of our caps, hid it, and asked for $10 for it back. And a member of the restaurant staff hovered his hand over my friend's chest and told her she needed to cover up, making her cry in the middle of the restaurant. The top was not even revealing in the slightest. A few days later, I undid my jeans button after eating and was told to do it up. Not to mention the lifeguard who was stoned on shift... We also had an extra charge on our room (at the end of our stay) for the bar... the all-inclusive bar. We even had proof that we were at the marina that night but were forced to pay it! These are only a few of the things that we experienced!!…
Hello. I would like recomend this hotel for coules, famylies and everybody. Hotel is very nice. Very clean and made for us very good feeling. Rooms are clean and very nice. We had room with pool view. Food was OK. Lots for choose. Drinks cold. Stuff everywhere friendly. Animation team amazing. We would like come back to our Nubia beach resort. Thanks for our the best holiday.
We visited Nubia for second time. First time was in 2017. We were so surprise how hotel now look. Lots changes, everything look like so beautiful. Especially we were the most happy from new aqua park 😍 Children enjoyed swimming pools. We didn’t use beach often. Staff was very friendly. We felt there like in paradise. Food was tasty and rooms and every places were clean. Animation team works good - active and friendly. I am so happy from our second visit in Nubia ☺️
Upon arriving we were offered food. The restaurant had stayed open to cater for late arrivals such as ourselves. I can’t fault the hotel at all, it was clean, the staff were always lovely. However, the food was a big let down. Let’s start with the hotel. Everything was always clean, the rooms are very nice with aircon. I saw some reviews saying the rooms needed updating however I thought they were very standard for what you’d expect in a hotel of this type. The beds were very comfy, and room was cleaned every day by the cleaner. Thank you! The water park is free of charge, so I’m unsure why some reviews say you have to pay to use it, we enjoyed some of the slides. Be careful though, as some of the slides will throw you around, and are very quick. I’m unsure what the evening entertainment was like in the hotel as you would have to walk down to the beach (5-10 minute walk), and that was too far to walk in the heat, so we gave the evening entertainment a miss. There were two stages towards the top of the hotel, and it’s a shame that they hold all the entertainment at the bottom end of the hotel as I feel not many people knew it was down there. The food. It’s such a shame that the food wasn’t nice, as everything else about the hotel was perfect. We felt that they didn’t cater to the British at all, and the food choices were very repetitive. You’d find yourself eating chicken and rice every day. The food was also very tasteless. On some days there were no fries. It’s a standard that every hotel serves fries. During the day you could only get fries down by the water park snack bar (which is a 5 minute walk from the main restaurant - The hotel is very big. If you’re not one who enjoys walking, this is not for you) I was very disappointed that there were some nights we couldn’t have fries. Before booking, we read up about the different restaurants. There was a mention about a panorama kids restaurant, however we never saw this, and children would be eating the same food as adults were served. There was no separate section in the restaurant that catered for children. Another let down was that you always had to ask for butter to go with your bread. There was never any out ready for you to grab next to the bread. We even went some mornings without toast as there was no toaster those days. Very simple things did let us down, however the main let down was the fact that the food was repetitive. The food was okay for the first few days, but after that you get bored of eating the same thing. We often found ourselves going out to eat, we went to McDonald’s, and a lovely British Pub (Lucas) down the Marina. Well worth the visit!! We overall enjoyed our holiday and would visit the hotel again, but it would not be for 2 weeks as you struggle to find food you want to eat by the end. As for the wifi- we never actually used it, we saw reviews that it was only available in reception. We opted for an Egyptian SIM card. These were available to purchase on the way out of Hurghada Airport- Go with Vodafone. They do the best deal for your money. We had a 62GB Sim Card for £17.…
Nice parts first: rooms are spacious, bar staff are nice. Beer is in a bottle. Aqua playground is good and the coffee is good. Bad parts: Food is terrible. Rooms very spacious but need updating. Attempted theft (I believe) Reception staff are often rude and unhelpful. On my last day the main reception guy took my phone whilst my back was turned and hid it under his desk. He said he was making sure other guests didn't steal it. However he could have moved the phone infront of my face, or told me he had moved my phone. He also did not move my wallet or passport only the phone. Pool was unfortunately dirty, otherwise it would have been a nice otherwise. Given this place 2 stars as it was pretty cheap and bar staff and room staff were friendly. 25 minutes from Hurghada and only 15 minutes from El Gouna. El Gouna is a guarded closed community, very clean and lots of nice places to eat. Highly recommend.…
Everything was amazing! The staff was exceptional, especially Amir (reception), Khalid and Mudeer (house keeping rm 1818). They went above and beyond to make our holiday as special as possible. Excellent housekeeping with he effort to make towel animals and unlimited water. The variety of food was great and the hotel was very clean, warm and welcoming. I would certainly recommend for young families with a great water park that wasn't busy and also many pools to choose from. Overall, a pleasure and would go again...Thank you!
We was with family in Nubia aqua beach resort and we recommending to everyone! Good hotel to stay at, the rooms are very clean and spacious with very good housekeeping staff which come around daily to clean your room and drop off bottle of water, the rooms also have very good air conditioning which keeps you cool during the very hot nights in Hurghada. Very good big territory, everywhere so clean and beautiful. The animation team were all fantastic during our stay we made friends with all of them who made the holiday even better as we would never be bored. Although there weren't many guests during our stay the animation team would do their best to ensure there was entertainment all throughout the day and evening time, the day time entertainment included water polo, stretching, aqua gym and volleyball. One evening we got to watch a belly dancer and join in with a traditional Egyptian spin dance which was fantastic fun. Every evening it was some show from animation team. The bar and restaurant staff were absolutely fantastic also, they couldn't do anymore for you. Overall we would recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking to go to Hurghada, please do not be put off by the bad reviews. We cannot wait to return one day to see the friends we have made there and to enjoy the sunshine again!”…
Everything was exceptional the service the staff food facilities and cleanliness special thanks for everyone working in this exceptionally amazing hotel A great experience, amazing animation team with alot of activities during the day and a good food & beverages with variety of international cuisine Thanks for all the stuff for the friendly and good service
We booked a 7 nights all inclusive stay but left by day 3 for our own health and safety. First of all this was not all inclusive, the main workers canteen served all inclusive food And drinks on tap including water. The cantern was filthy dirty and the food stations even more so. People not queuing up, and even serving themselves with their bare hands. Liver was the maim meat. There was 4 other restaurants you could visit - tiny and mostly empty- but the drinks would be chargeable. Absurd to be paying for soft drinks and drinking bottled water in an all inclusive holiday. The Chinese restaurant ok with with food, staff were nice. The Italian restaurant - nothing tasted as it should. The cheese on a simple margarita was not mozzarella. The food was so bad we, our kids were not eating anything instead we were feeding them crisps and other snacks which we were buying outside the resort. We were easy spending £38 for snacks and DRINKING WATER from The shops outside the resort. The Italian restaurant staff even attempted so bad to steal from us. The funny thing is the manager was present , saw what happened and took absolutely no actions. The rooms look like they had been broken into, and again filthy dirty. There was no drinking water in the rooms and we had to buy bottles of water from.ourside the resort to carry them up to the second floor so we had water in our room. There was a notice to say don't brush teeth with tap water instead use drinking water The pools were absolutely dirty and not staffed at all times. They would spray mosquito spray at 7 pm every day with no prior warning and the scene would resemble a terror scene where the staff were shouting and hand gesturing for guests to leave and go inside. NO WIFI. You were required to pay €4 and this would only work in the lobby. There was an instance where a little girl got lost and the staff were clearly not trained on what to do in those situations and they did not even have radios to speak with one another instead stood there doing nothing for about 10-15 mins while the little girl screamed scared as she couldn’t speak any languages the guests around spoke. It took two of the guests to walk to reception to let reception know. Eventually the mum showed up. All the issues were made clear to the reception staff and their response was to take it with loveholidays. The hotel managers were informed and they booth played dumb and ‘were going to investigate’ This was not 4* and certainly not all inclusive. Very poor quality, dirty and not safe. Everything at your own risk.…
