This is easily one of the most social places I've stayed at. I arrived basically with an idea of what I wanted to do in the time I had, Jimmy came over, asked me what I wanted to do and within half hour had a schedule written up, including tours, flights, drivers etc etc. Don't pre-book anything as Jimmy will...

great place, completely chilled and great for meeting other traveller's and swapping tall tales over a shisha. I stayed in a clean private room with clean shared bathroom and had trouble leaving, the place felt like home. Unlike many other non AC rooms in other hostels around Dahab, BishBishi has ceiling fans that pin you to the bed, rather than...

This is an unmissable hostel. Jimmy, Oula and the staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to sort out anything you need. The hotel has great places to chill out and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The shared bathrooms are always clean and the free internet is fast. A new restaurant has opened since I've...

Jimmy is like the mayor of Dahab. He didn't have the type of room my friend and I needed, but (after handing us free food) he took us under his wing and gave us a tour of the town--helping us find the type of room we wanted at a different hotel and introducing us to a wonderful dive shop (Aqua...

The hostel was very nice and the thing that made this place so great was it welcoming staff. They were very friendly and helped organise several trips for us with little notice. Everytime we walked back to the hostel they would ask if we had a great time and made sure we were happy with everything they provided. The only...

Bishbishi was an ideal place for us to stay in Dahab. We were travelling around, so wanted somewhere relaxed, comfortable and cheap, which is exactly what Bishbishi is. The shared bathrooms are pretty decent and always clean. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate, and the staff are really friendly. Penguin and Funny Mummy are just across the road (as...

BishBishi is a backpacker's delight. The rooms are large and affordable. It has wi-fi connectivity. Their restaurant (Funny Mummy) by the sea, serves up good food. Unlike other hotels in Egypt, this one is laid back and does not try to push anything down your throat. However, they are happy to organise your trips to Mount Sinai, Coloured Canyon etc....
