Tured with an OAT group. Food is good. Owner is friendly. Facilities are rustic. If you're looking for a typical hotel, don't go. Very nice pool and setting. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

This hotel is a very basic hotel but the setting and the owner are wonderful and really make this a nice place to stay. It is located out of the way on some ranch land. The grounds are stunning and worth walking around. The rooms are sparsely furnished - two small beds, nightstand and desk. The rooms are average size...

This place is isolated in the jungle a long way from Puerto Ayora. When you arrive the American expat owner reads you a long list of rules and regulations. The rooms are isolated and very dark. The only eating area is outdoors and the food was inedible. There was a lizard in my room which was most frightening and the...

It seems this hotel is used almost exclusively by OAT. Besides the owners they must have a staff of one when OAT has a group there. It is OK, but not a five rating. The pool is nice, but the overall facility is very rustic. It is not really near anything. You have to take a cab to get into...

A nice place for one night. But a long taxi ride into town. Located about 12 Km NE of Puerto Ayora Rather small rooms but the AC worked very well. Swimming pool was very nice with fresh water rather than the salt water around the islands. Meals were large portions and rather basic taste. Similar to an older style motel...

I stayed here on my last night in the Galapagos Islands. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The meals were delicious in a small, open sided dining area. The outdoor pool was so relaxing with hammocks, a jacuzzi tub, and a covered sitting area.

Spent one night here part of a tour group of 12 people. Hosts are wonderful, friendly, and excellent English. Facilities were great. AC worked well, hot showers, and most of all very clean. Quiet location away from the town. Meals were fantastic home-cooked variety with marvelous flavors. Drinks were varied and resonable. We very much enjoyed our stay and could...

Our OAT Tour group last stop before going home. Altair is located about 1/2 mile off the Via Cascajo road and several + miles from the town's village. Once you see the Hotel and it's surrounding property the first thing that come to your mind "Beautiful". It's a diamond in the forest. The place is privately owned and run by...

We were on an OAT tour and allowed only one night in this beautiful facility. I wish we could have stayed several days to enjoy the facility and unwind from the previous week of exploring. Robert gave us a great welcome and explained everything perfectly. The hot tub was great. My only problem (personal) was that the beds were equivalent...

A special place in the Galapagos. Secluded, quiet, beautiful natural surroundings make you feel you are in another world. Hosts speak English. A rustic flavor that would be at home in Napa, but in a very tropical setting. Rooms are spacious with very nice baths. Did notice that sounds carry from room to room and I could hear my neighbors...
