My first day was spent at the Sofitel in a small yet plush room for twice the amount of money and super expensive hotel food. It was slightly nicer, but not worth it. For the next 16 nights I was treated to a bigger room (a suite that was twice as big) and awesome meals at half the price of...

Stayed at the Griffon while on a long term assignment in Abidjan. Really charming and comfortable place, located right in the middle of Deux Plateaux/ Le Vallon. Wonderful staff. Would highly recommend!

Now called Hotel Le Champagne in Cocody had a opportunity to stay after 4 year. Cannot forget the room keys which is a brass ball attached to the keys. Location is good for so many amenities. Only missing is a gym or a exercise place Nice rooms with simple breakfast

Still unclear to me whether the decor here is ironic or in earnest, but once you embrace the kitsch, it's great! The pool is also a welcome respite from Abidjan heat, and it is well located for restaurants and shops, including a great gelateria a 3 minute walk away. Comfy beds. Breakfast is very generous--maybe the biggest variety I've had...

If you prefer a quite friendly and clean boutique hotel you would not be able to find better in Abidjan. If you didn't know where it was you would miss it. Hidden between a Vietnamese restaurant and a pharmacy it looks more like a garage entrance than an hotel but once past the frontage lies a very pleasant experience. The...

La Licorne is very conveniently located off of Rue des Jardins with plenty of shops and restaurants, though on a quiet street. Each room has its own unique decor - that's wonderfully kitschy. Breakfast is provided and the hotel offers spa services (in a small, simple room). The outside is adorned with water fountains, and lanterns at night - but...

A small, privately owned hotel in a quiet area of the city. Rooms were somewhat aged but not too bad for a West African location. If you want to get away from the panic of the city, this place is a good option. The restaurant service and food was very good.

service is not consistent; staff range from absolutely fabulous to rude and ridiculous. no variation in food available for breakfast or dinner and dinner prices are not consistent with price of accommodation. it's like it's 1990 when it comes to decor.

Recommend the place 100%, close to all places. Good value, net, food, private, rooms are spacious. Walking distance to most things , businesses. When on business trips, you need a place that has most and is low key. This is such a place .

Le Griffon is located in II Plateau on the busiest street of Rue de Jardin convenient if you are catching taxis. The rooms are Spartan but decent. The lobby area is comfortable enough for breakfast or tea. The restaurant has bad acoustics and a limited menu but it is pleasant and the staff prompt and accommodating. The only thing I...
