I like all of you read the reviews of this property and I was hesitant to book it. My fiance and I were heading into Atlantic City for an overnight stay to see a concert. We weren't looking to spend a lot of money for lodging, but also wanted to stay somewhere clean. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the Atlantic Motor Inn. The outside looks much better than the pictures online. My experience with checking in went well. Han, who was at the front desk is a very nice man. He was quick and efficient with getting me checked in. We had a lovely conversation about traveling and he informed me that he is a world traveler, something I aspire towards. He gave us our Key and we went to room 203. We requested a smoking room, so I wasn't sure what we would walk into as smoking rooms don't generally look or smell good. Again we were pleasantly surprised. It smelled wonderful, had hard wood or peel and stick hardwoord floors. The sheets were clean as was the bathroom and the room was spatious. The wifi at the motel works well. Our car was safe all night long and upon check out we were greeted by Han again, who was just as friendly as the day before. I recommend highly staying here for a trip to AC.…
this place is horrible. outlets show that they have been burnt, the hairdryer is the same. sheets were gross and covered in hair. entertainment center is damaged along with doors as well. bathroom doesn't look like it was cleaned. absolutely do not stay in this place it's way to expensive from what it is.
I have been staying here for the last 3 years when in town. A 2 to 3 day visit has been good. The hotel owner is very accommodating and the cleaning staff has been on point. Granted it’s not a 5 star hotel, but for the price you can’t beat it. The beds and floors are new and the linens are clean. The bathrooms are also clean but need to be updated. I have never felt unsafe .There are security cameras around and if there is any suspicious activity, they are on it. All in all, great location.
The pictures look like it's a half way decent place. However it's an odd mix of newly fixed (new vinyl flooring, bed and TV) and broken down (bathroom). The bathroom had what looked to be black mold growing around the sink drain and the door didn't close all the way. The plaster all around the bathroom door had broken away in large pieces and the door had dirty smears all over it. There was a lingering weird smell which was made slightly better when the smell of weed crept in from the room next door. The office staff wouldn't let us park our truck in the front lot even though our room was right there. They kept telling us that we needed to go out back to park. The back lot is where the drunk/high "working girl" was stumbling around every day we were there. We were woken up each night by the fighting/yelling outside in the lot or from other rooms. Thankfully we have no plans to return to visit AC again in the future. If we did I can tell you where we won't be staying.…
This is the wrose place ever is dirty is smell really bad the bed had ned bug cover is dirty never clean i stay there 3 nights they charge my husband for parking $10 dollar's a day plus they told him if he move his car and come back he had too pay them $20 more for parking no Wi-Fi this is the wrose place over the door had tape and the ac this place need too burn down
I stayed here for one night in August 2018. It looked very plain and in need of updating. The front desk people were very friendly and accomodating. My room was very clean, the sheets were crisp and the pillows very comfortable. There was no mold in the bathroom and the tub was clean. If I was going to be in town anther night, I would have continued my stay. When I was leaving, the staff was shampooing the carpets. I truly believe they read these reviews and take them seriously. The next time I’m in town, I will certainly stay here.
Decent room for a place to rest your head (quieter rooms around the side.) You are a stone's throw from Resorts Casino. The longer you are in the room, the more apparent how the place has fallen into disrepair with a laughable attempt at renovating (saw a shower head covered in paint by a lazy handyman as he was repainting.) Party it up, and a place to rest for the night maybe to free HBO, and free coffee in the morning. Not Buckingham Palace by any stretch. Beware of exorbitant pricing weekends.
We arrived on Friday and checked into our room. No towels or trash can in the room. Had to go to the front desk to request them. Saturday we got up early and went out. Came back to find door was not closed and room was not made up. Went back out to the Boardwalk and returned at 11:30pm to find housekeeping had still not been in the room and no towels, extra pillow and blanket we requested was put in the room. I went downstairs to complain. Was told that they didn’t know why nobody had taken care of us. Then the manager knocks on our door around midnight and asks for my drivers license so he could make a copy of it to bill my credit card. I told him I gave it to the person I checked in with and showed him a copy of my receipt. Yesterday we went out and spent the day sight seeing. We got back around 11:00pm and as we walked in one of the employees said “her room 218, we took care of you”. We went up to our room to find the door open again and no towels. I went back downstairs to get towels and complain about our door being open all day with our belongings in the room. As the guy gave me 2 towels he said they didn’t have washcloths. When I told him about the door being open he said “don’t worry. Nobody steal nothing “. This was the worst motel I have stayed at and for the price it was totally unacceptable. They are working on renovating the place but they don’t clean up after themselves. I almost stepped on a piece of glass someone dropped in the middle of the hall. Avoid this place at all times. …
Paid them and went to the room. Filthy, scary. Plastic on the bed (not the mattress protector, but thick plastic). smoke detector hanging off wall. All plugs into an extension cord (not a strip). Blood splatter on the back of the door. Found another hotel and gave the key back. I am still awaiting to hear from property about a refund for the night that we did not stay, and/or a refund from Wyndham that owns them. The photos on any site are not of this hotel!! I have no idea where they are taken, but I did upload pics of what it is like.
I stayed at Knights Inn from 7/22/17 to 7/24/17, a very hot July weekend. The check-in time changed without notice from 2 pm to 4 pm. We specifically reserved with this hotel due to having a pool and continental breakfast. They had a pool but with no water in it, advising that the "fire dept" would fill it with water soon. There was no breakfast. They gave runaround explanations for each. There were no phones, no shampoo or conditioner. However, the staff was accommodating with the air conditioner and ice water. Ice machine was out-of-order. I am not one to formally complain but this is a warning to others reserving in the future. I asked for a reduced rate upon check out. The clerk informed me that I must speak with the manager regarding this. She handed me a business card. Once I checked out, I left several messages through the week and emailed asking for a reduced rate due to no working pool. No return calls. However, I found the staff to be friendly.…
