Don't expect "fancy pants" food options or bartenders that call themselves "mixologists". Just grab a seat, have a beer, listen to whatever is on the jukebox and relax. I rated it high because it meets the expectations of an old Irish pub. Order a drink, chat it up with the person sitting near you and relax. The food that is...

A lot of history in this building. Been there over a hundred years. It's a must see for history buffs and the food is very good and reasonable. A neighborhood place where regulars meet in a relaxed family friendly atmosphere. A must see when in Atlantic City.

I was talked into going here on New Years eve to ring in the New Year. First of all the seating was odd we were seated at a table that just seemed to be pushed in its spot. Several tables said reserved but were never occupied. There were no items that would be expected in an irish pub and the...

Whenever we get down to AC we always try to visit the Irish Pub for dinner.Always good food. Place has a lot of history to it. Went to pick up a friend from a red eye flight out of Atlantic City Int. Airport last December so we went down early to have dinner here first. The place was decorated to...

Worked, drank and had great fun here as a student in the summers of 1970, 71 and 72. My memories are none of your business!!! I have not been back since 1972, but in order to submit this review I will pull a date out of the air!

When you arrive at the Irish Pub dining room The decor from early 1900's and Irish music seem normal enough. The bar food is acceptable except for the crab cakes which were incredibly awful. The menu printed on a placement alerts you to the somewhat sketchy fact that they do not accept credit cards, cash only. There is a weekday...

This is a gem in Atlantic City. Where else can you go and get an entire dinner for $10.00? In a resort town, impossible, but it's not. The Pub is frequented by Townees and shorebees alike. The staff is excellent, the bar is steeped in history and the owner is one of a kind. If you're in AC, you gotta...

The pub and restaurant is great. I did not stay at the hotel. I enjoyed the "Poor Richard" lunch special, soup and a ham & cheese sandwich for $4.00. Not a typo, it was $4.00 and good, too. The pub decor invokes the aura of an auld Dublin pub with photographs and memorabilia of a bygone era. Service is prompt...

You're visit to Atlantic City isn't complete until you walk down the Boardwalk to St. James Place and enjoy yourself at the Irish Pub. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Ireland, not the Jersey Shore. The food is simple and good at a great price. I strongly recommend the daily Poor Richards special. The staff are inviting along...
