I recently stayed at the Flagship for Two nights, checked in on a Saturday, out on a Monday, in early June. I often visit the Flagship at least annually when visiting Atlantic City as I love having a room with a balcony! While previous stays have always been at least somewhat problematic, this stay was my best thus far, as check in was relatively quick, and the male front desk agent seemed to like his job, was hospitable, and gave me a room with an amazing view! I had room 2618, which faced the inlet, and ocean, so when you looked out the window, you see the beach and water. It was perfect. To actually get to my room was difficult though, as I parked in garage, and could not get an elevator on floor two. After waiting 20+ minutes, with all my stuff, with another couple, and impatient/angry employee (he was annoyed couple kept pressing elevator button), we all took an elevator DOWN to first floor, to actually be able to go up, as too many people were trying to use it. Later in night and other days I minimally waited for elevator so just an issue at check in. I usually get the 1 queen room, but this time got the 2 doubles, as it was cheaper for a weekend stay, but the beds were more like queen size, and I liked having extra pillows! (I was alone). The room was spacious, CLEAN, comfortable, and had a kitchen area, dining table, regular size fridge, etc. Beds were a bit worn as one nearest window was creaky, lumpy, and caved in. My only other issue was the shower drained slow and water pressure wasn't great. I can't wait to come back, and enjoy the wonderful views, as I love relaxing on the balcony. Parking garage is nicely repaired but I felt pressured to return early Saturday night, as well as Sunday, to a lesser extent, to get a spot in garage. I hope they keep up on cleaning the rooms as I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean everything was!

In visiting Atlantic City we thought the Fantasea would be a worthwhile place to spend time regularly. Unfortunately as an investment the experience was all smoke and mirrors. Even after expressing reservations about the additional expense of their guaranteed vacations. We were seduced into applying for an additional line of credit to cover the down payment for our guaranteed vacations. Needless to say our guaranteed vacations never materialized. The dates we wanted were never available. In all we were subject to taking random weekend getaways with a modest discount for owners. I've a mortgage on property I'm unable to use at my leisure. And in addition debt that I'm still losing sleep over. It's all pretty and fancy and shiny around the edges. But save yourself the stress, sleepless nights and mountains of debt for your guaranteed vacation that will never come to pass.

Fantasea! More like a nightmare. This company has one thing in mind. Money. They are greedy and heartless. My cat was hit by a car during their sales pitch and I made a rash decision to get out and take care of that. I felt trapped when I initially signed up, but shame on me. God forbid your life circumstances change! Changing family size? Greater personal expenses? Their only solution is to upgrade!! Because spending more money on something that wasn't as advertised in the first place is always a good solution (sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell). Do not buy in! Unless your fantasy is to be stuck with a company that has zero respect for its patrons.

We have reached out to this company multiple times trying to be released from the timeshare. We have had nothing but bad experiences. We stayed at one of their facilities through another company and the rooms were not as advertised. We had dirty sheets, the floors were filthy, and the fridge looked like someone had punched it. We complained and got placed in another room that wasn't too much better. We have reached out several times with no cancellation in sight. We have not been able to book our week and we are wasting money. We feel foolish for even falling for this pitch and we just want out. We have been in contact with Howard Alter who has continuously beaten around the bush and has not assisted us with the request to terminate. We are not interested in his "help" to book. We are not interested in selling this to someone else. No one should be trapped with such a burden. We just want to give this back to FantaSea. We also deserve a refund because as we have NEVER been able to book. It's the only logical thing to do in this situation. Please save yourselves and your wallets a world of hurt. Stay far away from FantaSea.

We have made many requests to FantaSea to cancel the timeshare purchase we were deceived into buying. Our savings are drained, we are slowly being financially destabilized. When we approached them (calls, emails, letter, the BBB) they said for us to get a realtor and sell. We thought they had realtors selling them and trusted that. Know this, they are not licensed. We have only been able to use this once in over 10 years. The hotel that we booked was a run-down dirty motel. The rooms they show you were they are trying to sell you the timeshare are just displays. The real rooms are just normal everyday motel rooms. When they called me to upgrade, we used the opportunity to tell them how dissatisfied we were and asked them to take it back. Instead they offered us a ton of freebies. We decided to go see what they had to say and try to convince them how unsatisfied we were and unable to use it. Here is the thing, we were told that they were switching to a point system where we would have more options, more resorts, easier to use etc. and recently we have been told that FantaSea does NOT HAVE A POINT SYSTEM. So what were we upgraded to? According to the documents, we own 1/52nd of interest in the Flagship Condominiums. Think about that, because after more than $36,000 all you get is another bill. My travel was over 10 years ago but it does not give me that type of option. Don't let them force you into buying. Everything they say to try and sell you are all lies. You can just go anywhere, at anytime and stay at these luxury resorts. This has really taken a toll on us. We just cannot continue to come on. All we continue to get out of this is maintenance fee's that keep going up every year. Sad....just so sad.
