We spent 4 days at the Irotama del Sol. The room was modern, the AC worked great, bed was comfortable, internet worked 5 minutes per day tops. Beach is 1 kilometer and beautiful, A few vendors approach ever hour but were not obtrusive. The staff was very friendly it helped that my wife is from Colombia. The food was OK...

The bungalows have tiny rooms and tiny bathrooms, more like a two star place. The food is really good, especially the breakfast buffet. The vegetation is great and it is good to be close to the beach. However the place is really overpriced. Make sure you check your bill: you will be charged a steep price for toiletries, almost as...

This very large beach resort is spectacularly located, right on the carribean. The all-inclusive package worked great with our kids--we were really well-fed and the food is fresh and spectacular. The service was also excellent. Plenty of activities on the beach and water, but not overly done. And the pool is beautiful, with a waterfall and waterslide (tastefully done, not...

Nice hotel, great location but I couldn't believe they schedule beach parties in front of room! ? ! Check first if they are having some kind of event that is going to interrupt your sleep.

Recomment the suites called Bohio, they are right at the beach, excellent location, excellent view, food is amazing, street vendors leave you alone since it has a private beach. Strongly recomment this hotel, all inclusive, amazing pool, rooms are big , confortable and clean. Again I recomment the Bohio suites.

We stayed 2 nights at Irotama to relax at the end of our vacation in Colombia. By US standards, this is not a five star resort, but when traveling to a country like Colombia I find it unfair to hold this resort to these standards. We paid around 120 USD per night for a villa (standard room) this included breakfast....

My husband and I are Americans living in Colombia. We have lived in numerous countries and have extensive travel experience. We rarely write reviews of hotels due to the great variation in experiences and expectations by country. Having said this we were greatly disappointed in Irotama. Consequently, I feel compelled to write a review to dissuade other travelers. The grounds...

This is the worst hotel i have been in Colombia. There are of course worse hotels, but this one is really a rip-off. It is featured as a 5 star hotel, which is just obvious by watching its facilities that this is not 5 star hotel. I felt really disappointed with my room, with the spinning room, with the beach...

My husband and I travel extensively and are very easy going. I can’t remember any time that we have been so disappointed with a hotel. We went expecting a 5 start hotel and found a disaster zone. Most of the hotel was under construction. Our room was extremely disappointing. We were paying around $300 per night and the room had...
