I love this hostel!! I came here for a 3 day stay and left 5 weeks later. It has everything you need to base yourself while you explore the surrounding areas. In this 5 weeks I went on day trips as well as 2/3 night trips and was able to leave my big backpack in luggage storage for free while...

Just want to make sure everyone knows! I don't prefer these types of hostels but if you do then you'll have a grand ol time. I moved to a quieter hostel in Santa Marta. Positives: the staff at Drop Bear are helpful. the juices are yummy. The tv room was fun for watching the olympics. But remember, parties.

A great place to stay! Wonderful big space, huge TV room with netflix and all you want, a dozen hammocks on the first floor. Kitchen is OK and could use some new tools but they have a restaurant included which serves great food at reasonable prices. A supermarket is down the street. The pool is wonderful and the atmosphere is...

This hostel is amazing, great facilities, great staff and great community atmosphere around pool and bar. Being an Aussie, I felt right at home :). The slight downside is it's a little far from city but if you're doing tours they'll still pick you up. They have plenty of info about tours there.

We stayed here on two separate occasions (both before and after our trek to Ciudad Perdida) and really liked this hostel. The receptionist, Juliet, was excellent! She was friendly and made an effort with all the guests. The hostel has an interesting history - ask Juliet. We were staying in the old master bedroom which had an entrance hall, massive...

The dorm room we stayed in was spacious also with lots of storage room. Great place to meet people & party but also have an early night as well as it...

This place has everything it's competitors has but no idea how to utilise the place to make it a good stay for travellers. It could be so much better. Firstly it has no working wifi unless you are sat in reception and hardly anyone else is using it. This is a basic! You can even get a better signal travelling...

Sorry you didnt enjoy your stay mate, but hey let me give the low down on our rocket science business. The wifi had been down as the house had been struck by lighting over a week ago and broke our very expensive and very good wifi system. As Colombia is not a first world country the spare parts are not...

This hostel was awesome to cone back to after trips out exploring. The pool is great and there are plenty of areas to socialise and chill out. Vegemite on toast for breakfast was a nice taste of home after months on the road. Only negative is there isn't much around the area but it's a cheap can.

We stayed at the hostel for 1 night arriving from Santa Marta. The old cartel house is pretty big and was nice to see its setup as a hostel. It would have been luxurious in its day. We booked a private room which had windows onto the pool/bar area. It had a strange setup up as we had to walk...
