I visited Medellin for 17 days in late August and spent every night at Arcadia. The rooms were nice and cleaned frequently, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was super helpful and fun to be around. My friend and I had a great time and will be back as soon as possible. A special thanks to Juliana, Mauro, and...

My boyfriend and I checked in for the weekend to stay in a private room. We stay in hostels often, sometimes staying in dorms, sometimes private. The private room was right in the main hallway in a windowless room. It was two unbelievably uncomfortable twin beds pushed together with something stuffing the gap between the two creating a big lump....

Me and my girlfriend we stayed at this hostel for 5 nights, last week in a private room. When we arrive there at arround 15 oclock we had to wait 30 m because they didnt have our room done. Our room was tiny and old. It was besides the kitchen and near from the reception what made our rest impossible,...

We appreciate your feedback, it is always very important for us to improve our service. You should know though that during your stay in the hostel here in Medellin we had the flower festival, which is the biggest event of the city, its the highest touristic season of Medellin, everything is overbooked and completely full. For that reason we offered...

I didn't think much of this hostel. The kitchen is a mess so you cannot realistically cook anything in it. The hostel is advertised as somewhere between a party hostel and a place to chill. But this doesn't work. If you want to chill you can't because the bar insists on playing aggressive electronic/reggaeton music which isn't always pleasant at...

The place has a really good vibe. Relaxed people, but overal very noise in the night. Unfortunatly the trip advice for a tour was not correct (tour took 2 hours longer. And the dpanish speaking guide was very useful if it was in English. The staff said this was the best and you don't need Spanish if you join). The...

This is the second time I have visited this hostel. The first time I had a good experience. However I have just left very disappointed and offended. I was placed in a bed that was reported to have a bed bug problem prior to my arrival, without my knowledge of the incident. I spent two nights in this bed and...

This was an interesting place. It has its ups and downs like everywhere. We had a mixed up reservation in another hostel, so looked around the city and ended up here. The beds are sufficiently comfortable and quiet (no squeaking). The downstairs room (aptly named 'Hades') is a little cramped, albeit cheap. The third floor rooms are nice (which is...

For me the most important thing in a hostal is the people and the ambiance. Arcadia stands out from the rest in that point, there's such a great community there, I met Kurdish guy from Syria, ukranians, Iranians and many people. I definitely recommend this hostal for anyone who likes friendship, amusement and dynamism!
