I stayed in a mixed 4-persons dorm. Staff is really friendly, helpfull, and their English is really good. They help you in preparing trips. The hostel is located in a nice and safe area. Lots of sanitary facilities in the building, which are cleaned very frequently. The hostel does not offer a breakfast, but there are different shops and bakeries...

This is everything a hostel should be. Well run and planned. Clean, social, garden area. Great kitchen well used. Shower (private double ensuite room) hot and powerful. Great advice on what to do and travelling on. Free city tour recommended was one of the best of our trip.

From the moment I walked in to Black Sheep Hostel I felt at home thanks to the staff. They created a warming atmosphere and were extremely helpful. The showers were piping hot and other facilities such as the kitchen and chill out areas were spotless and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

In 8 months of travel, this remarkable hostel is the closest thing to home that we can recall. The staff were incredibly attentive and the hostel harbors a relaxed sociable environment. We met many friends here and it was so good we went twice. The hostel competition in Medellin is really hotting up but this is by far the best...

Incredibly kind and helpful staff, and convenient location 5 minutes walk from the metro and 5 minutes walk from the exito supermarket. Clean beds and rooms, lots of communal areas and a well equipped kitchen. I've stayed here twice while in Colombia and highly recommend it

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Black Sheep Hostel a couple days at the beginning of our trip in Colombia. We took the reference in the lonely planet (this year's edition) and we didn't regret that choice. The place is super clean, calm but full of life in the same time. There's a lot of chilling spots and it...

We only spent one night here but would have stayed longer if we'd found it sooner! A nice big hostel which feels more like a hotel. The rooms were clean and well furnished with no air con but a big ceiling fan did the job of keeping is cool at night. The staff on reception were very helpful, printing off...
