And found an Oasis! Having missed our boat to the island we decided to stay at the closest hotel we could find to the docks. We showed up like a couple of dusty wanderers and found Pablo at the door. He checked us in and found us a room for the night at most reasonable price. When we saw that...

My husband and I were staying in an Airbnb but after the AC in the apartment stopped working, we checked into the Alfiz. After a day of sweating, walking into the welcoming Alfiz hotel was heaven. great service, a welcome glass of sangria, a cute little pool, and antique filled 2-story hotel room, a nice bed, and best of all:...

Really nice room and we felt good value for Cartagena. Nice pool and really friendly staff. We got the last room left which was actually on the ground floor but would have happily stayed there again but the hotel was fully booked. We would definitely go back.

It was a shame that you couldn't stay again with us, but we hope you enjoyed your short stay. As suggestion for next time we recommend to book in advance with at least 15 days as we normally are very full, but of course you can always try our last minute rates!

My boyfriend and I just spent four nights at the Alfiz Hotel and absolutely loved it! This eight room boutique hotel has very courteous staff who happily assist with whatever requests you may have. There is a small but charming pool on the second floor, and a wonderful jacuzzi, that you can reserve for a relaxing evening, on the rooftop....

My girlfriend and I spent a very relaxing four nights at the Hotel Alfiz in September. The hotel is located in a quiet street just a short walk from two of the city's main squares (Plaza de Bolivar and Plaza de la Aduana). There is a little shop next door where you can stock up on bottled water and other...

After 4 days trekking to Ciudad Perdida we were hoping for an oasis of tranquility and we certainly found it. From the wonderful welcome to the fantastic junior suite and excellent breakfasts we loved the Alfiz. Staff were wonderful and friendly throughout helping with restaurant recommendations and a day trip to Islas Rosarios. The junior suite was cool, spacious and...

Gorgeous boutique hotel. We had the junior suite and it was a wonderful place to relax and refresh in between exploring the city. All the front desk staff are friendly and sweet. We enjoyed a bountiful breakfast every morning as well as the lovely roof terrace and plunge pool! It's also conveniently close to a mini-market, pharmacy & ATM.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at the Hotel Alfiz and can't wait to go back. From our airport pick up to the morning breakfasts and everything in between the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous. The location is perfect for all of the sites in the walled city, walking to shops and restaurants...

We preferred a few other hotels to stay at throughout our traveling, but the location & service was fantastic here. It's conveniently located in the Centro neighborhood and in the dead center of all the fun shops & restaurants. Complimentary, top notch coffee at all hours of the day is always a nice touch in my book.
