My husband and I just returned from a lovely stay at this small hotel. We, too, found the rooms a bit small (but we did NOT find any condoms-used or otherwise YUCK!) as one reviewer stated. BUT we must agree that: - The "breakfast sausage" WAS a mildly heated hot dog -The Happy Hour only did include one beverage (not...

Its very Important that I correct this report. The only time we lock our wrought iron folding entry doors (which are more decorative than secure) is when our staff are called away from reception. This is a temporary but obvious measure to prevent undesirable persons entering the hotel. At night when all our guests have returned we close the main...

Paid for three nights but left after two nights. Tiny dark rooms, rude and unprofessional management. Dirty bathrooms and used condoms under the bed. Breakfast leaves much to be desired unless you want a cheap microwaved hot dog as "sausage". First time I've seen a boutique hotel "happy-hour" that limits you to "one glass of wine" or "one beer". They...

Second attempt by the same individual to vilify the hotel by filing false and disgusting content. We have asked TA to remove as mutliple filings obviously offend all guidelines.

This small hotel offers cleanliness, amenities and more. What is our best memory is the staff. They did everything and more that they could to insure a worry free vacation. Before we went we emailed the staff a few questions; the answers came within hours. While there the breakfast was delicious; the happy hour was happy (we met some great...

Just got back from staying at Casa La Fe. I would highly recommend this hotel for several reasons. First, a great location in the Old Town, walking distance to everything. Also, the entire staff is wonderful. Freddy, the manager, is charming and speaks excellent English. He is honest in his recommedations of restaurants and activities. We met some very interesting...

We stayed in Casa La Fe for 3 nights. We found not just the hotel facilities excellent but also the staff. Rooms are very well kept and very comfortable. Breakfast we excellent. The staff are very helpful and we took some recommendation from them on tours and places to eat and visit during our stay.

After reading so many positive reviews on TA and seeing lovely photos of this hotel and pool, my partner and I decided to book. We were offered the "Loft Room" with a non-refundable rate which we had to pay ahead of time. We arrived and were shown to our room. We immediately unpacked and headed to the pool! We arrived...

The alternative arrangements we put in place were excellent - Boutique hotel 20 metres distant from our door with a large rooftop pool with the guests being requested to pay for any drinks consumed there. They did imbibe and then left without settling their bill so we took the heat for that. And so it went on - our hotel's...

A friend and I came to Cartagena just for the weekend, so we only were able to stay here for two nights. The room was a little bit small but definitely sufficient. It was also nicely decorated and very clean. They warned us that it might be noisy because it was on the main floor (also cheaper for this reason)...

This is a refuge from the outside world in a very touristy Cartagena. The room was just the right size and the bed was really comfortable. I was glad to have friendly and available staff at all times. They were always very helpful with my requests and with good recommendations for us. Breakfast was excellent, fresh juice, fresh fruits, five...

We spent a lovely time here together with my wife. The hotel is clean, and it has an excellent location with easy walking access within few minutes to every main point of the old walled city, which is not a minor detail. Our standard doublé room in 3rd floor was ok, with a clean bathroom, AC, and WiFi. The breakfast...

From reading reviews before arriving I expected something spectacular. It's a nice hotel but overpriced for what you get. I travel a great deal and for close to $US250 per night, I expect better quality & service. The rooms are small (due to availability we paid for a room for 3 and I can't imagine having 3 adults in this...

I believe this guest came with certain frustrations that she was in an unnecessarily expensive room for just two person occupancy. She also booked through an OTA (Booking.com) and therefore paid a Rack rate of $222 rather than booking with us direct at a Prepay rate of between $170 and $200. The guest refers to Additions to her bill as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Casa La Fe is ideally located on Plaza Fernandez de Madrid in the heart of the city, offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere but with the convenience of the town's antiquities, restaurants and entertainments on the doorstep. The building dates from the Republican era and was restored to its former elegance by the current owners in 2005. The majority of our rooms are arranged around a central courtyard and garden where we serve breakfast and unlimited fresh coffee. We also have a number of bedrooms with private balconies facing a leafy park, which is unique in the city centre. A rooftop pool, terrace and mirador offers panoramic views with breeze and shade to escape the heat and bustle of the town. Our Angel bar on the terrace is open daily until 10:00 pm. The quality of our client service is renowned, with many reports in Trip Advisor and we are recommended in the NYT, London Times Group newspapers and Lonely Planet. ... more   less
