Simple basic hotel. and very clean. Great for the price- Room Air conditioned, having the double bed to myself , free wi-fi & and some free computers with internet at the reception area. Considering that the price was the same as what usual backpacker hostels charge for sleeping in a dormitory (with other 6 or more people ) within the...

We stayed here 4 nights in the end (breaking to go to Tayrona in the middle). Pros: very clean, daily servicing of rooms, air con, good shower pressure (not warm water though but that's the norm here), great WiFi, helpful staff (we speak very little Spanish but managed to get everything we needed in the end - including one of...

My girlfriend and I left our hotel in Boca Grande because of the noise. We searched hotels inside the walled city to find a place specifically requesting quiet. We explained why we were changing hotels to the woman in charge. The location appeared great however you find out later that there is actually a nightclub/strip bar that opens only in...

this hotel during semana santa gave us a really good price as none were posted. but we did a LOT of footwork to find a good price during the highest season of the year....since the hostel we booked did not have enough room for the two of us during this time...not only that but the hostels ALL were around 120000...

That's a basic hotel with no breakfast (there're many good restaurants nearby) Very clean, staff is really friendly, helpfull for customers. Rooms are very little, A/C, TV, free wi-fi, good double bed, always clean. At the hall in front of the reception there are available Pcs to fast navigate on internet and fridges with good drinks. Don't expect nothing special,...

It is a good location, with average rooms. It caters to Colombians and not over seas visitors. No English at reception desk. If you choose a room at the front you can open the tall wooden shutters and step out onto a small balcony. For your money you get a double bed, ac, TV small shelf and bathroom. The shower...

I have stayed in many places that were listed on the cheaper end around the world but to be quite honest for the price, Hotel Porvenir is the worst so far. Pros, awesome location and air conditioning. Cons, not really the cleanest, no window in the room so it gets quite stuffy, receptionist did not speak any English which wasn't...

Loud music kept us awake every single night of our stay until at least 5am, there was no toilet seat, the shower had no light and was just a hose coming out of the wall, the staff were obnoxious and even got us to pay in cash on the last night that we were there (whilst sitting in reception due...

This hotel is a budget option in the centre of the historic centre. The location is excellent and air-conditioning is available in rooms which in my opinion is a must in Cartagena! Other pros were fast wifi and the free use of a printer and scanner. Downsides - no window in our bedroom, staff weren't overly helpful and on one...

Good address for (relatively) cheap accomodation in the old city of Cartagena. This is basically a backpacker place, so don't expect much more than a simple room with basic bathroom and A/C (if you opted for it), BUT this is a very clean place, which cannot always be taken for granted in this hotel category. Pros: great location, friendly staff,...
