This hostel was okay.. it had both positive and negatives. My private room was spacious (with air conditioning) however there is no hot water in this hostel. It is in a great location, in the heart of old town Cartagena. They have a chill out area outside - although very hot during the middle of the day and could do...

Great hostel in an incredible location. All around is beautiful and the hostal so well managed. After the horrible Palomino we visited the most exiting city of Colombia. El Viajero is highly recommended, everything is just perfect, beds, showers, staff, information...

This hostel is great to meet other travelers. Convenient location in the old city. At arrival the staff welcomes you warmly and they make with success, efforts to remember your name. There are daily activities. The dorms or a bit uninspired but comfortable, what's missing are plugs though. They keep the hostel and specialty the toilets/bathrooms super clean, very nice.

That place is just great ! Unfortunatly you pay for that ! There's wi-fi, a big terrace, hot water, a bar, receptionists are all models !!! But it's ridiculously expansive espacially if you've travelled a bit in Colombia before. The only affordable room was the 16 beds dorm at the end of the corridor. Unfortunatly that room is just by...

Sorry Kevin, but I think you did not stay in our hostel......we do NOT have 16 bed dorms. Our hostel has 1 dorm for 12 people and its not by the street. The price for 1 night is around USD 15 which is the international standard. And we are inside the Walled City, very close to all the plazas and...

Not so clean, the rooms are so boring and if even if you pay extra for AC they turn it on late at night and turn it of early in the morning. Breakfast was okey. Staff okey, not totally service minded. I think this hostel is hyped! They have to high ratings. It's a good common area but the lack...

Thank you for your message Olivia! Yes the Air Con is turned on from 7pm to 8am only in dorms when the room is empty. But we are allways willing to turn it on (just ask in front desk) if you want to have a nap. We also hace a TV Room with air con 24 hours if you want...

Located in the center of Old town, they are located close to most attractions, plaza de la Madrid is nearby. Slightly slow check in process, but was alright. Extra 5000 pesos deposit for towels. Bathrooms are clean and showers as well. No hot water. Dorm rooms are clean although it gets quite stuffy and they don't turn on the air...

Expensive by Colombia's standards. Overall pretty clean bathrooms/ showers etc and nice breakfast in the morning. Great location - worth the money for this alone probably but the bedrooms are average with noisy metal beds!

I think its been the most basic hostel room, ive been in on my trip. The building itself from the outside etc is charming and the staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. I didn't like the rooms what so ever tho...and having an air condition that is controllable for guests can become a huge problem (we had a guy in...

Hi Vanny, i think your review if for another place. Because in dorms the air acondition is controlled ONLY by the staff and we dont have remote controls for them. Second, we have 150 beds and an occupation rate of more than 85%, so that is more than 120 people you can socialize with, and an outside bar that is...

The hostel is great. Easy to meet people, there is a bar with cheap beers. Every day some entertainment, the best was the salsa classes. The staff is helpful and I strongly recommend this hostel for every one.
