Very happy with this little hotel in the centre of Cartagena, near to Restaurants, Shops, and Banks. The hotel is very clean, fresh bedding every day, the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitley stay there again!

Our room at Hotel la Magdalena was clean and the service was great. It was nice to be able to have a clean, private, air conditioned room for such a low cost in a very cute city! My only complaint was the shower. There was no hot water!

I am so happy that we stumbled upon this gem in Cartagena. Oscar was a huge pleasure and help at the hotel with information and he has some super cute puppies at the moment that he let me play with. The location of the hotel is very convenient for doing all sort of activities. There are tons of food options,... More

Our room was clean and tidy and also well appointed, though the room did smell a bit damp and musty. Super handy location and friendly staff. Generally pretty quiet which, coupled with a comfortable bed, made for a good stay.

The people here are great. The hotel is super cozy and clean. People at the front desk are willing to help and welcome you with a warm smile. Lulu the dog is adorable and my friends and I had the luxury of meeting her adorable puppies (they will be there temporarily). I highly recommend this hotel if you're on a... More

My wife and I picked this hotel for its price and location. The price was great--the room was air conditioned and we had hot water and the sheets were changed daily. It is also located in the Getsamani district which is a bit more down to earth than other parts of the historic district and more local. The terrier puppies... More

The hotel was a convenient location and quiet. The touristic spots In both the historic center of the walled city and Getsemane I was interested in seeing were both within about a five minute walk. Good air conditioning which was important in the Cartagena humidity.

A good stay! A very clean and tidy place as the staff are continually cleaning. A place to stay if you want to be In a location close to many areas In the old town. Cold showers but that wasn't a big deal. Good AC but rooms are pretty dark. No breakfast here but many Cafes around.

La Magdalena is very well located, being only 5- 10 mins from the old town. The rooms are very basic but very clean and comfortable, the only problem we had is the shower gutters did work very well and can flood easily. The air conditioning was excellent which you definitely need with the humidity, as was the wifi. The property... More
