Stayed here 2 nights as start on group tour. Reasonably comfortable. Don't know the rates included in tour. Short walk to the castle & as others have said, breakfast at sister hotel nearby. Staff reasonably helpful. OK stay

I pre-booked this hotel for 2 nights prior to visiting Cartagena. Unfortunately I had a hospital visit through which I couldnt make it to the first night. The staff was very understanding and supportive to postpone my 2 days with a day without asking for a cancellation fee. A point for attention, not every reception staff could speak English. This...

This 2* hotel is situated close to the centre, approximately 10 minutes walk. It offers bed and breakfast although breakfast is at the sister hotel in the next block. I found all the staff in both hotels extremely friendly and helpful particularly as I was on my own. There are restaurants nearby, plenty of taxis, buses etc. There is a...

This is a pleasant hotel with a wonderfully helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, simple, and clean. The beds are pretty hard. There is a nice lobby. On the weekends, there is some muffled noise from the nightclub next door. Great location--just a 10 minute walk to the walls of the old town.

Stayed 2 nights as part of 2 week tour. Having arrived from the higher land of Medellin and Bogota the heat and humidity took a little getting used to and cold showers welcome ! !. Room was quiet and had adequate AC. Easy walking distance from the old town and streets very lively at night. Good eating places just round...

I think they may have put us in the sister hotel without telling us, but regardless I was a bit disappointed in this hotel for the price. Our room wasn't great and the beds were hard as a rock. I don't usually complain, but it was really uncomfortable. They did not provide breakfast at our hotel, but I was told...

Stayed here with friends. The room is small with somewhat uncomfortable beds. The service, however, was excellent! We received great advice on everything from arranging travel plans to pharmacy services. Our room was directly next to the courtyard and it is possible to hear conversations happening in there from the bedroom. This wasn't a big deal, but something to be...

Hotel is very nice. It is located 10 minutes away from Old City, safe walk. There was no hot water as people wrote in previous reviews, but it s so hot in Cartagena that it didn't matter to me.) There is no AC - just a fan, so it is hot. There was no window really in my room, window...

Stayed here for a couple of nights over a weekend. Simple spacious rooms with a good ceiling fan, dated but serviceable washroom, some good storage space with dressers, shelving, coat rack, and good free wifi. Room was clean. Shower had no hot water, but given the weather in Cartagena, I didn't miss it. Beds were on the firm side. Breakfast...

We stayed one night after we booked Casa Mara, just opposite, and they were full. We negotiated the price down from 175,000 to 150,000. Pros -Friendly staff. Some could speak basic English. -Nice rooms, very good AC... actually too cold and no blankets on the bed! -Clean and good location. Felt safe with good choice of restaurants and bars about....
