The location is excellent for a young couple. within walking distance to the plaza, stores and bars, cheap restaurant and expensive one's too. the taxi fare to any where inside the walled city and boca chica is only 6k ( 2.7 USD ). The hotel itself is beautiful, excellent decoration with outstanding rooftop polo and "chillout" areas. now the bad,...

thank you for your comments, Let us give you a really big apologize, the city was remaking pipes and we had some problems like our neighbours. We have a reservoir for this occasions but lack of city water took over for two days, so it was only a few hours that we ran out of water but we know it...

Came with three girlfriends and we shared the suite. From the first moment we set foot in the door the staff was attentive and inviting. Our 20 minute intro included a thorough introduction to the City and Getsemani and for our entire 5 days the staff could not have been more helpful. They booked excursions, transport and made restaurant recommendations,...

The hotel is small and charming with an eye for the details. I very much liked its style and atmosphere. It is very green and calm. Service was good, but then again we didn't use anything except then check-in, check-out and breakfast. Rooms were very quiet and the AC was not loud at all (as other reviewers suggested). One must...

The hotel it's pretty, although my room was very little. For the price you were expecting something else. There was no hairdryer in the room or shower caps. One morning I find a mouse in my room. It was little, and of course you have to deal with this kind of things in an old house in Cartagena, but still...

We’re leaving Casa Lola over the moon. It is a gem of a hotel and made our trip to Cartagena. The rooms and common spaces are beautiful and comfortable. You could spend your entire trip on the roof deck and it wouldn’t be a waste (although Cartagena offers so much to do and see). The staff are equally important; the...

The Casa Lola is a beautiful colonial hotel in Getsamani, within easy walking distances of everywhere you would want to visit in Cartagena. Our room on the ground floor was beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and an outside shower. Despite being on a street that has quite a vibrant nightlife, you cannot hear it inside the rooms. So quiet and...

Incredibly funky and charming boutique hotel with a great location in Getsemani. Every room is decorated with different artwork and the overall vibe of this place is very hip. Beautiful and spacious, leafy common area where breakfast is served. They have very helpful staff who know the local area, and can help arrange transportation or other needs. Two adjoined rooftop...

Clothing as metaphor: Think of the traditional four or five star hotel as the smart dress you'd want to wear to a cocktail party where you want to make a good impression. Think of Hotel Casa Lola as the well-worn jeans you'd want to change into after a long tough week at the office. The former makes you look great;...
