this hotel although spacious, and clean, food excellent. one major fault they did not speak english so communication was by drawing or mime as best we could. When we arrived we were given our room keys and left to find the elevator, our room, our way about. So when the taxi didn;t turn up for our trip the next day...

Probably the worst hotel, the front lobby, and lifts to the banqueting rooms, look good, however the communial lift area at the back of the hotel, to your rooms are grubby and dirty, cracked tiles on the floor. On alighting on the 6th floor and looking for room 606 - we go past two communial WC's and the smell of...

Stayed as part of a tour. Location is great, breakfast is average, rooms are a time warp back to the 80s but a decent size. I have two main issues with the hotel though - air conditioning didn't work in any of our rooms and they were all very dirty. The carpet in particular is disgusting and the showers all...

It's in Chengdu, it's in city, it's a hotel. Still looking for the garden! Perhaps the giant orchid painted on to the side of the tower is the missing link. This is a very ugly, run down property, but it's location is perfect for central Chengdu. All the main busses run to all the main sites from outside the doors...

The hotel doesnt feel like 4 star as it claims.. i was brought here when my flight to Jiuzhai waa cancelled and rescheduled to next day. The building and rooms looks aged and with wears.. some wallpapers were peeling.. and the water supply was quite weak.

Our tour group had only one night here thankfully - the room was OK but carpet and chairs dirty - bed linen was fine and the bed itself standard (eg hard) as are they all in Chinese hotels. Lots of pillows do help. Still looking for the garden! Not recommended.

Clean and safe, this hotel was well located for our "base camp" from which to explore Chengdu. The staff where friendly and helpful, there were huge towels in the bathroom and a much appreciated, small container of laundry powder on the counter. Room size was not an issue, standard Chinese size, and the breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

Not sure where other reviewers stayed but this hotel has a good location, rooms although maybe slightly small were very clean, comfortable, and staff helpful. Breakfast was good, wifi reasonably fast compared to other stays in China, shopping centre next door with lots of food choices and a very large supermarket that was fun to explore and see Chinese goods....

I would not recommend this hotel as it is very dirty, has small rooms with only basic facilities and an average restuarant. This hotel was part of a group tour so we did not book it. But if I ever went back, this is one hotel that I would avoid. It says it all that when I went to enter...
