This hotel doesn't welcome foreigners any more. Unfortunately, I was told that when I reached the reception only. It's unclear whether this ban is related to Covid or not. But anyway, although I had as proper reservation, I could not stay there and had to find another place at the last minute. I regret nor the hotel website neither any reservation website mentioned that.
Rooms large and correctly furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Missing a more modern shower system and a better breakfast but according to the standard of the city, this hotel is more than ok. Very easy to enjoy the night life and restaurants around there. Nice temples also accessible within walking distance
We are a couple who stayed here for 3 nights, from 27-30 October. We were very pleased with the hotel. It is a nice 4 star hotel and very well priced, making it great value. It is very well located, almost in the middle of the walled Ancient City and in walking distance of everything in the Ancient City. Our room was large, comfortable, with stylish decorations, a large king size bed, a sofa, a desk, a seating area spanning the bottom of the bed, TV with CNN, a nice bathroom, detergent for washing and a line for drying your laundry. The breakfast is varied and fine, though the pastries and muffins inexplicably were always quite dry. There is a sauna downstairs, with separate male and female sections. It is reminiscent of a Japanese bath house: small stools to sit on while scrubbing before bathing, then two pools (warm and very hot water respectively) to soak in, plus attendants who do body and feet massages. Surprisingly, 2 Chinese men smoked in the pool. The hotel gets China Daily newspaper for public areas, but alas it is 3-4 days old.…
Hotel staff is great and they prepared the room for us with flowers, bed decoration and a cake. There is a Brazilian barbecue at the hotel serving very good meat(Latina). Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Parking is available. Breakfast is very good. Very good hotel and excellent price. Our room was around 60 usd.
Despite not much English, the staff are helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. The gym was well equipped and I had a relaxing massage. Dinner in the Chinese restaurant was good. The Brazilian restaurant was loud and congested but that appeal to some people.
