The hotel looks modern and has some nice touches. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the airport. The hotel staff can’t speak English and communication was difficult I had to use a translator app most of the time. Breakfast is only Chinese and Korean, I would think that a Hotel so close to the airport should at least have some western breakfast as they target international travelers. The staff always assisted us when we needed a taxi believe me it’s not easy walking to the road and trying to stop a taxi/cab, the ones that stopped for us had no meters in them and lucky I saw this and didn’t even get in. The rooms are nice and big and are very modern. The bed is a queen size however the mattress is very hard. The room comes with a mini fridge and you get complementary water everyday. The shower and toilet are separate and are very modern and quite big in size compared to other hotels. The room also has a massive bathroom with a jacuzzi style bath with a skylight. The only problem here is that the jacuzzi itself no longer works. The passage carpet is dirty, they should clean it properly or change it to laminated flooring. A huge plus for me was the Skylive Cafe (Karaoke Bar) situated on the premises, they sell the coldest beer in Qingdao and if there’s a group of you they give you a fruit platter and a snack platter. Overall it’s not bad at all, not sure if I will stay there again but I will definitely visit the skylive cafe...😊

I be never been in a place that creepy and dirty...half of the lights in our wasnt working, some of them was even unscrewed out of place. Mattress felt like concrete The air condition was very weak ( 85 degree) Mold under the sink The bed was facing the toilet Mold in the shower walls The cold water tap was coming out hot ( and it exploded when first turned on because of the air in the pipes) The lights in the hallway was so blue and scary The smell in hotel was disgusting Staff was very rude and sometimes was not It was only one night that we had to stay there, worst night in my life

I am in the hotel lobby as I am writing this review. I booked a room here as I have to stay a night in Qingdao for a very early flight at Qingdao's Liuting Airport in the morning. The only good thing about this place is that the location is near the airport. Everything else is... bad, very bad and shocking bad. First off, don't trust the literature! The western restaurant has been closed since god knows when but the signs are still there to frustrate people. The korean restaurant is a good 3 mins walk away for the building and is completely deserted. The lobby is unattended, most lights are spoilt and there is only one or two staff behind the counter at any one time. They seem like the only souls working in the hotel. The whole hotel is underlit and the area outside the lift landing has an incredibly strong musty smell. The room has a nice design but my room only has a tiny window. The tv signal here is so noisy, watching anything is absolutely impossible. And oh yes, there is NO wifi. They have an old XP computer for you to use the net so my macbook pro, ipad and iphone are basically useless here. Wifi is available in the lobby which is hidden from view from the hotel's front. The mattress feels like concrete. Haiz There is no bar, no facilities, no concierge... Nothing. I am not sure who can possibly write good reviews about this place as it is terrible for its price!
