Reached Dalian in Freezing cold and went straight to the hotel on last Monday.... Stayed for 4 nights last week at this property and was overall a pleasing experience. The hotel really looks grand from outside. The lobby is huge with a well staffed reception counter. Check in was smooth and was in the room in no time. Rooms are sufficiently spacious...

The light switches in the room are located on a control panel between the beds, so, if the first time you enter your room is at night, you had better use a torch to find your way around The beds are bathroom are OK, and the room offered plenty of space, but the furnishings were old and chipped, and the...

My stay at this hotel was an odd mix of very good and very bad. The hotel is very large and the lobby area is very impressive and my rooms (two separate stays in the same week) were very good; very large, well equipped but with a typical hard Chinese bed that would not suit everyone. The meal organised by...

Having stayed at the Grand Mercure in Dalian quite a number of times, the quality has been consistent over time. The rooms are well appointed with a good writing desk, wireless, complimentary fruit, marble bath with tub and shower, comfortable enough and quite clean overall. Room service has been patchy, so I usually just go to the Japanese restaurant, which...

The physical property of the Mercure Teda is nice. The lobby looks grand, the hotel is big, the elevators look nice, they've even got $400 bucks or so of flowers in the lobby. Rooms are so-so, a decent size, but with old dirty carpet, the customary rock-hard bed, and smallish bathrooms. The overall experience here really suffers when it comes...

This is the first time I've reviewed a hotel twice. It's been nearly two years since my last review and I have had the (dis)pleasure of staying here plenty of times in between. As mentioned by others, the hotel's location is not super but the rooms remain spacious and fairly well-appointed, at least on the Grand Mercure side - I...

Mercure Teda Dalian is hotel that is out in the back block of Dalian and make it hard to get to the city center to do anything. The room was over heated we tried to turn the heat down but it seem to get hotter. The bathroom is in need of good clean. Breakfast we are people going to wake...

There is the Mercure and Grand Mercure connected to each other. I have stayed at the Grand Mercure half a dozen times so far, since it's our company's contracted hotel in Dalian. This would be a great hotel if the location weren't so...baffling. There is really nothing near the hotel...some apartment complexes, a hill...there's a supermarket and a KFC about...

“I don't recommend this hotel at all.”

“Rooms to the front face Zhongnan Road, a very Busy and Noisy road from early morning. Rooms to front, in summer have the sun all afternoon. Not conducive to returning after a the day and looking for some cool. Getting a cool sleep is totally dependent on the Air Con. Want some air movement to help sleep, need a fan to help, don't waste your time asking. Rooms to rear are quieter and cooler. These face a cliff and get sun in the morning.”
