We selected this hotel on its being 1 block from the old quarter area where excellent restaurants and shops are located . The hotel is definitely a 3 star hotel but with 5 Star service . The front desk were able to help us out in giving directions to restaurants, laundry service etc. Yes the facility could use some updating... More

I loved Suzhou, and this hotel is definitely a budget style place to stay. It is in the Old Quarter, so it provides interesting walks down streets to the canal, shops and parks nearby. When we arrived, the staff spoke little or no English, so we were fortunate that we had our guide with us. Her Head Office had booked... More

I was part of a tour group who stayed here in Sept 2015. I was the only single traveller & hadn't been having much luck with hotel rooms. This hotel had aircon, a huge superking bed & a shower to die for. It was the best nights sleep I had for the whole trip!! It was also central to some... More

Great reception staff, comfortable room with lovely design, rainforest shower and a wide window from the the bathroom to the bedroom. The only downside is being located a bit away from other hotels, but this place was worth the trip. Highly recommended for your stay.

Stayed part of tour, room was ok for one night Only!! Shower overflowed on whole floor, be careful you don't slip. Room could be cleaner for sure. Room overlooked garden which had various rubbish thrown down on it and I squashed a few ants in room as well !! Breakfast was barely edible but again close to Main Street (... More

Hotel is located some distance from the main tourist sites which means that you'll need a taxi as they are too far to visit. Staff were friendly but had very limited English. Reception area was nice but room was very old and tired and smelled of cigarette smoke. The hole place needed a refurb and a make-over. Buffet breakfast was... More

Stayed here as part of a tour so can't comment on the value of the room. It's a pretty basic room and it was clean. A kettle was provided for boiling water which is good. We travelled in winter and initially were not able to get the heater going. We headed out for lunch and on the way back to... More

From the lobby and entrance the hotel is fairly tidy and modern. I was quickly disappointed with the lack of English speaking staff. Checking in wasn't too much of an issue once I presented my passport, allowing them to pull up the reservation. Upon receiving my card, 3 different hotel room numbers were written on the card holder. Confused, I... More

This hotel has large rooms with a bar fridge. The dinner at the restaurant was very nice and had cheap white wine (38 yuan - white wine is hard to find in China). The carpet in the rooms was very dirty with stains on it and the bathroom door was very hard to slide shut. One of the bathroom towels... More
