Kazy Hostel was a very positive experience for the 5 of us as we travelled to Harbin for the weekend to visit the Snow and Ice Festival. We arrived very late but the staff very obligingly had stayed up for us.In fact,it seemed like they stayed up 24 hours a day. They were so helpful in every way possible and prepared us...

Booked this on internet as I went during ice festival and was concerned about vacancies. I dont usually do this as I like to see the room first, and this is an example of exactly why. The photo's posted appear much different from the room itself. This hostel is very, very dirty. The common area is small and therefore constantly...

Location near to Central Avenue and within walking distance to the frozen river and Sophie Church. The room was average with strong foul smell from the bathroom. Just had to bear with the foul smell for five days. The staff can only sprayed freshener which last for only an hour. The heating was warm.

This place is located in an old synagogue dating from the beginning of the 20th century, right in the middle of the historic part of town. You can't have a better location in Harbin for that price in my opinion. It is reasonably clean, the staff is extra friendly, and it's safe.

Kazy is the first hostel I lived in and really gave me a fascinating experience. The receptionist was hospitably and considerate; The room was unique and the location is excellent! but the shower is so-so... Okey... 200 character is required.... I'd like to say, the owner is handsome :P and he like to talk with tenants, form him I got...

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand, it's VERY CHEAP and, for the price, the rooms are not bad value for money, especially given the location. On the other hand, the rooms are tiny and quite far from the shared toilets. All of that didn't bother me as much as the nasty service- even by Chinese...

We went to Harbin for the annual ice festival this hostel fit the bill for what we needed: cheap, convenient, and facilitated transportation/tickets to the festival. Even sent us our official fapiao after we left. We did private room, which was pretty basic - bathroom had a slightly bizarre smell but looked like they had installed a brand new hot...

Stayed in a private ensuite room, which is very basic but equipped with a tv. Heater didn't work very well, hence the room temp is still cold. Wifi is not available at room, but available at lobby only. Location is not bad, service is average. One thing good about this hostel is, you can get any winter clothes, from hat,...

We had read the reviews and my husband, Chinese friend and I booked a triple room thinking this would be a great hostel. We were very disappointed. When we arrived, we were shown to a room which had 3 single beds, a tiny window that didn't open and a private bathroom. There were no towels or toilet paper so we...

“If you have 4 people go the Room with the Mezzanine floor. Plenty of space and although the mattresses suck you will appreciate the space for your 8 layers of jackets and stuff. Ensuite is tiny but showers are HOT and great. BYO food, HEAPS of ways to cook and socialise in the kitchen. Drinking your own grog in the kitchen also seems totally fine :) (Aussies, we love to find a good cheap way to drink :P )”
