My girlfriend and I stayed in Sanya for seven nights - all at this hostel. It's five minutes from the beach, and it is surrounded by convenient, but pricey, shops and restaurants. The room prices are very reasonable, and it is full of international and domestic travelers. This hotel is part of the YHA China organization, which usually has very...

I spent three days in this hostel and would definitely go back there! I was in a dorm room and the bed were very confortable (not so hard as in all other chinese hotels), the stuff was friendly and answered to all my questions. The location is perfect, so close to the sea and vert close to the next bus...

The staff was friendly but the place is so old and obsolete. The mattress is not just soft but all springs seemed to be broken and collapsed. Toliet quite dirty probably because it's too old. Not much vibe as well because the common lounge was quite small and look really dirty. There's an outdoor place outside for BBQ but it...

First of all the hostel when we first got here seemed like it had seen better days however a short walk around the area reveals that it is relatively nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful and lend you stuff for free however they needed like a 10 kwai deposit to play foosball on the broken table. We had...

It you ever find yourself i Sanya, this is the place to stay :D Nothing bad to say about this hostel, only that the breakfast is a bit boring. But because of the location you can easily find other places to eat.

Lovley time but chose to come around chinese new year, not great for the wallet!! Lots of tours available with very friendly english speaking staff to help. Bed soiled before I got in (hence poor review below) but seems like an exception to an otherwise well maintained place. Would stay again

This was a great place to stay, the room was clean (almost had a view ;)), the staff was really nice and helpful. They had hats and stuff you could borrow for free, that was a great feature since I travel light. The staff gave really great advice in terms of places to go. The only thing I didn´t like...

The blue sky lies in a small backalley in dadonghai. If you know where to look for it, it is easy to find. The lonely planet description has the problem that it is not clear where to get off the bus. The bus stop is right between the summer mall on one and the linda seaview hotel on the other...

The blue sky is not easy to find, but it is very close to the beach. The price is much too high for a room. During peak season you may find your self in a tent at 200 yuan a night. The staff speak English but are not too worried about helping you. Good location is the main point.

“Try and get a room from the upper floors facing the ocean, as there are construction work going on next to the hostel. We stayed in such a room on the 5th floor and couldn't hear a thing :)”
