It is an old traditional hotel in the center of Punta Arenas in what could be described as "english style wannabe". Lots of wood work and a cozy reception room. The bedrooms however are old and decaying with old (not antique) furniture. The bathroom was also old and had some humidity that made the floor wet all the time, we...

Clean, comfortable and warm rooms (extremely important when you are in this part of the world), tasty breakfast with amazingly fresh cakes every morning, obviously the cook is a pastry chef. Excellent location, from here you can go anywhere in Punta Arenas on foot, and if you are renting a car, there is parking place immediately in front of the...

Hotel is quite old, but comfortable , well conserved and well located close by restaurants, bars, supermarket and center of the city. Rooms are comfortable, clean and shower is good. Cost benefit is high. Its a good option to stay in Punta Arenas.

we cannot compare it to other hotels in the region, but our overall impression is this is an average establishment. our room was good size and clean, but the decor is dated and dark. the toilet, after being flushed, had an annoying screeching sound while the tank was refilling with water. WiFi worked good. staff were welcoming and helpful. the...

The building is old and under partial renovation. It offers basic room with adequate facilities for a short stay and the free in-room wi-fi is good enough at a room rate which is relatively reasonable in the locality around. The location is close to the town centre and a ride to the airport by cab is about US$17-20. The reception...

Bedroom was warm and nice an cozy. But the smell in the bathroom was horrible. Bathroom was nice and clean but the bad odor was emerging from the sink...

Our stay here was a pleasant surpise! We had a serious car accident on the way to Puerto Natales (beware of the gusty winds!!!) and needed to stay two nights in Punta Arenas. The hotel was roomy, clean, and had a nice seating area in the lobby. Most importantly, the staff at the desk were exceptional. Both the lady and...

I stayed at this hotel for its low price and location 1.5 blocks away from the central Plaza Gamero. Inside it is dark and worn, but I got a good night’s sleep and the staff was helpful answering questions. Speaking Spanish helps and most guests were South American residents. Room #407 is very small: since I was traveling solo I...

Old hotel, smells old. We recently stayed for 2 nights (Jan 2015)We had 2 rooms and both were kind of humid. Th first night, in one of the rooms, the window was broken, the cold air was coming into the room and the heater wasn't enough for the room. We end up moving to another room after 40 minutes discussing...

Good location and we were given a nice spacious room after complaining about our first which was right next to reception and very noisy. Breakfast served in a small cellar room and basic continental style cold meats/cheese. Coffee awful
