We stayed in the 4 bed dorm which was very spacious. Great lounge area with comfy seating. Good shower facilities but only one toilet. Breakfast was great with fresh coffee, scrambled eggs, cheese and ham. Good location close to bus drop off.

This is one of those places you can easily stay for a couple of days. The dorm beds were excellent with great sheets and blanket. There´s a nice common area and dining tables where they serve breakfast with eggs! One of the few places that gives eggs for breakfast. The staff is very nice and helfpul and washrooms are very... We took a room there because we arrived to give our van back. We loved the place so much we stayed 5 days in total. The double room we had was perfect. The big living room was super cosy. The staff was very friendly and super helpful concerning tours and restaurants. The location is very good in Punta Arenas.

This is an excellent place to rest your head while you're in Punta Arenas. The staff is attentive, thoughtful and works hard to make your stay a good one. They were very accommodating, helping with little extras and speaking english when my spanish ran out. Their prices are good, the hostel is clean and comfortable, and the location is very... More

Germán and Alejandro are both extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel has been updated recently and is very warm and cozy. Great ambiance with table football, lots of light from big windows, and vaulted ceilings. Very solid breakfasts (Good Coffee!) and fresh clean towels included. I've stayed at 2 other (super cheap) hostels in Punta Arenas, and Hostal La Estancia... More

This hostel might doesnt look like much, but as soon as the door open, herman the owner greets you with a warm smile. The rooms are tidy and spacious, 3 bed room has a great shower with a hot &powerful beam. The hostel lies close to the center (5' by feet) and near some delicious restaurants. Herman was very helpful... More

The place was almost closed this season...the owner comes in the morning and then leaves..so it was nice to have the place to ourselves but sometimes he is talkative and at other times hardly responds; quite moody.. also, the breakfast was supposed to be from 7:30 or 6:30 am and despite the fact that we told him that we were... I stayed 3 nights at La Estancia, and it was one of the best hostel experiences I've had in any country. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Punta Arenas. The good: Alejandro is an incredibly helpful host. I emailed him to see if there was availability when we were passing back through Punta Arenas (after having... More

I'll start with the good stuff: My dorm bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in; very cozy and quality sheets. The hostel is extremely clean and tidy, and clearly plenty of attention goes in keeping it that way. Great shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was quite generous and promptly served every morning.... More

I only stayed for one night after a trekking tour and had a good sleep in La Estancia. The service might indeed appear a bit funny, but I personally found everyone from the staff very friendly. The kitchen is ok, but could have better opening hours. The rooms are spacious and bright and the beds bigger than in other hostels.... More
