We loved our 3 night stay here. We were upgraded to a suite, which was enormous, including one of the largest baths I’ve ever been in! This hotel though is run by the friendliest team of staff, they simply could not have done any more to make us feel so welcome and special. The rooftop pool was perfect. The location was also ideal. Central to loads of bars, restaurants, the river and shopping. Plenty of tuk-tuk’s available on every street. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, just perfect
We stayed in the Aviary for 4 nights but wished we had stayed for longer as we loved Siem Reap and the hotel. We were in a suite and it was large with a separate living area and an equally large bathroom. The location is perfect being a few minutes walk away from Pub Street, the canal and other places. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. There are 2 pools, one on the rooftop with a bar and restaurant. The breakfast was good as was the lunches we had. Would recommend this hotel.
The Aviary was so perfect! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. It was home for 6 days. Pools are beautiful. Food and drinks delicious. Loved the Japanese restaurant - went twice 😋best central location, close to action, yet layout of the hotel feels tropical. highly recommend!!!!
The hotel was very nice. The design is wonderful, Cambodian Boutique feels but in a very clean and modern presentation. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. There are 2 pools, several restaurants, a cafe plus a spa and gym. I experienced all the services and everything was great. The only thing I would comment on is the breakfast is limited. They provide a menu which has about 10 individual items, and you have to make sure to let them know you want it extra hot as it would come out room temperature at times. The location is also great, it’s an 2-3 minute walk from Pub Street and the Market. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again, anytime.
In the city center, prime location , spacious room , cozy. We went there during rainy season, we could not enjoy swimming. Staff are friendly. The only things to improve is the breakfast choice is too limited. The rest are wonderful and we enjoyed 6 nights staying there.
This quaint hotel is literally tucked away on a main road, and it's only a three minute walk to the popular market and pub street. The hotel staff is welcoming and attentive to the needs of all guests. When I arrived, we were able to finalize my tours/events, check with the airport to determine the estimated arrival time of my delayed luggage (that's another story...), and answer any additional questions. The rooms are creatively designed and cleaned with attention to detail. To my surprise, both the bed and pillows were comfortable and sometimes my room would be cleaned twice! I'm happy that breakfast was included as there are about three or four options and the food (especially the fresh pastries) is good. The highlight of the trip was my time with the tour guide, Mr. Sokhoeun Bout! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the temples and surrounding areas, but he also went above and beyond to insure I had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend him as a tour guide when exploring temples, waterfalls, and anything else he can offer. Oh and definitely participate in the cooking class at the Paper Tiger; the staff can make the reservation for you! Although life is a little slower than it was pre-COVID, the city of Siem Reap is transforming into the vibrant city that it once was. Enjoy your time at The Aviary Hotel; you'll thank me later!…
Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. Easy walk to handicrafts markets, great cafes around the corner & fantastic pool(s). Convenient to Angkor Wat & sites. The hotel staff are very friendly & efficient and nothing is too much trouble. We weren’t so organised & they were a great help to book trips & set us up with a tuk tuk driver (Mr Khoeung) and an Angkor Wat Guide (Sokhoeun) and both excellent! Our Guide was very knowledgeable about the temples and Myanmar history and a lovely man. Booked him for a second tour to the floating village & flooded forest a few days later. Wouldn’t hesitate to use the hotel recommendations - they are reasonably priced & excellent people.
Fabulous , locally owned boutique hotel in a great location. The staff are very courteous and efficient, and nothing is too much bother for them. They organised our day trip to Angkor Wat with a tuk tuk driver (Mr Khoeung) and a most competent guide - Sokhoeun Bout. Sokhoeun’s knowledge of Khmer history and his command of the English language are incredible, This combination of driver and guide made for an outstanding and memorable Siem Reap experience. Requested both for a second excursion to the Floating village. Highly recommended.
Modern hotel with spacious rooms and stylish decorations. Ideally located in the heart of Siem Reap wirh many choices for dinner, drinks snd massages close-by. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great pleasure staying here.
We are so so impressed with this hotel! It was an amazing stay! Probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at and we’ve travelled a lot. It was super clean, the staff were so helpful and friendly and the location was perfect! So close to everything. The water out of the taps was also drinkable! It’s safe to say that we will definitely be back!
