Our stay at Viroths Villa in Siem Reap was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the property. The villa is exquisitely designed and meticulously maintained, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.
The staff at Viroths Villa were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a special touch to our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and their attention to detail was truly remarkable.
The location is ideal, within walking distance to Pub Street, making it convenient for exploring the local area. Every evening as we headed out, the team at Viroths was always ready with a cold towel and an offer to spray us with mosquito repellent—a thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciated.
Our room was beautifully appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The elegant decor and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing.
We cannot recommend Viroths Villa highly enough. This is undoubtedly the perfect place to base yourself in Siem Reap, offering exceptional service, comfort, and convenience.

Viroth’s Villa is a small boutique hotel with an exceptional location in Siem Reap. The size of the hotel determines that the facilities are not many or lavish. The ground floor houses the reception and the only restaurant in the hotel, overlooking the small pool. The guest rooms are on the first, second and third floors and have to be accessed by the stairs, there being no elevator.
The hotel provides complimentary airport pick up and drop in vintage cars, Rolls Royce and Mercedes, which grunt a little but do the job. A la carte breakfast comes with the room. The selection is adequate and service was always prompt and efficient. We were able to tweak the menu a little and, on the last day, we were invited to order virtually anything we wanted.
Our second floor rooms overlooking the pool were spacious and clean, furnished trendily and with a delightful leafy balcony. What the hotel may lack in facilities is more than made up by the quality, promptness and friendliness of the service. Since the four of us stayed five days at the hotel, we became familiar with the staff and were always greeted with warmth and friendliness. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient and our endless requirement of drinking water was always supplied smilingly. Every time we came back to the hotel from a visit outside, we were greeted with fragrant cold towels, a delight in hot Cambodia. Before we went out in the evening, the hotel staff would spray us with insect repellent, a lovely touch we enjoyed. They appeared concerned about our health and comfort, and particularly about our safety, warning us to be careful while outside the hotel.
The hotel staff helped us in planning and executing our activities in Siem Reap, making suggestions and arranging transportation and guides.
A delightful hotel I would love to come back to.

We stayed at Viroths Villa for 3 nights in mid Dec 2019. We are a family of 4, so we booked 2 adjacent rooms and we felt rather safe letting our kids stay in a separate room.
We just can't recommend this hotel enough... It is absolutely wonderful. The staff is so warm n hospitable, absolutely nothing seem to be a table for them... We are vegetarians and loved the food they made for us. Infact we ended up ordering from Viroths restaurant (owned by the same family), 2 days in a row. Breakfast was also superb.
The location is also fantastic, close to the center of town, so if you plan to visit Siam Reap not only to visit Angkor Wat, but also get a feel of the city, this is the perfect place to be.
The spa is wonderful too. There are laundromats, supermarket and coffee shops nearby.. the pub street is 5 mins tuk tuk ride, which the hotel is more than happy to organise for you. Honestly, there is absolutely nothing that the hotel fell short of.. it is just perfect. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you are someone who likes more personalised feel to the place over the regular 5stars.

We opted to stay at Viroth’s Villa instead of a hotel a little further out of town the tour company had suggested, very glad we made the switch. It’s a very short walk across the bridge to the markets and restaurants. The hotel itself would not look out of place in an interiors magazine. The restaurant, bar and pool area is compact but very pleasant, staff offer excellent service in these areas, with reasonably priced drinks. We didn’t dine there but the breakfasts were absolutely sufficient. Used the spa service once -the selected treatment and the therapist were very good. Spotlessly clean rooms and well pressed laundry. If you have mobility issues do request a room close to ground floor as there’s no lift, as other travellers have noted. Some nice extra touches such as the packed lunch before dawn at Angkor Wat and mosquito spray (the hotel’s was a lot more effective than ours). We saw that other hotels were empty or closed during a difficult time for the tourist industry locally - seeing Viroth’s Villa nearly full is testament to its quality...

We did a 3 week tour of SE Asia and one of our stops was Siem Reap, Cambodia. We found this place online via a "Gay Friendly" listing where everyone is welcome. Turned out it was mostly families and backpackers which was fine. They started off by picking us up at the airport in a vintage Rolls-Royce – nice touch. It’s right in the heart of it all but just down a side alley so you feel more secluded in a good way. You're greeted at the entrance with cold towels and a welcome fresh fruit mocktail- which was amazing. The staff is very eager and attentive. They had an ala carte breakfast that you could pick and choose from which was included. The pool area was very calming and we enjoyed their happy hour sitting around it from 6-9pm each night before dinner and it was BOGO. The room was spotless and very well laid out with a nice balcony, comfy bed and a window couch. We also have a fresh fruit plate waiting for us in the room. We didn’t know what to do with most of it so we carried it down to the restaurant and they prepared it beautifully for us. I would have been happy staying longer but alas we only allotted 3 days there. Would def stay there again.

Having stayed previously at their sister property Viroth’s Hotel in Oct 2019, thought I will give this smaller property a whirl and it certainly lived up to all the favorable reviews on here!
Airport pickup in one of their vintage cars was such a treat and always the highlight of my trip to Siem Reap.
Rooms are comfortable and well appointed.
The real gem, however, is the staff on property. The vibe is welcoming and warm and it always felt like you are coming home to a friend’s place.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a value for money, warm design- forward stay in a central location.

Viroth's Villa is the perfect mix of comfortable, modern and cheerful. Each time you enter the hotel you are offered a cool, damp facecloth. And when you go out the offering is mosquito repellent. Both are offered with kind words. Inside the decor is fun, colorful, yet relaxing. Food is tasty. The place is spotless, even the leaves on the plants are cleaned. But the most outstanding thing is the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Each time we were near staff they greeted us and inquired as to how we were doing, but not in a way that felt uncomfortable or self-serving. The morning we left, early, we said Happy Birthday to a member of our group. A staff member overheard and within 10 minutes they had a chocolate dessert on a plate with Happy Birthday written for him.
Unfortunately my photos all look drab--colors turned out horribly. Sorry.

We spent 5 nights in Viroth’s Villa and we had a fantastic time. The rooms were spacious and clean. But what makes Viroth’s special is their staff. From front desk to restaurant staff to housekeeping- everyone we met was friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. We were always greeted with a cold towel on our return from sightseeing and it felt great! The location is perfect, in a quiet side street but about a 8 minute walk to pub street, and within walking distance to some great restaurants. Our room included free airport transfer and it was executed flawlessly. We even got a drop off in a Rolls Royce! I would without reservation recommend this hotel.

My friend and I stayed at Viroth’s Villa for 4 nights. We were picked up from the airport in a vintage Mercedes Benz. The staff at the hotel were kind and helpful from the beginning and recognized/knew us within hours. They helped us to book a last minute cooking class and also made sure that we always had bug spray (very important!). The room was clean and very trendy. The restaurant had a great breakfast and the lunch we had there was also delicious. They packed us a delicious breakfast, including silverware and a blanket to sit on, for our early morning tour of the temples. The location cannot be beat and they also have tuk tuk drivers on hand who would drop us off and pick us up at restaurants and Phare.
The hotel and especially the staff made our first visit to Siem Reap extremely memorable. We will recommend that anyone we know coming to Siem Reap stay at this hotel.

It begann with a very special airportshuttle (Oldtimer Mercedes) arriving at the Villa we got an icecold towel to clean our hands but a very warm welcome at the checkin.. Our large room was on the 3:rd floor, panorama windows bedded in tropical plants. Wonderful!!! The whole staff are young people, vey polite and professional. Each one of them seem to like their occupation. We were very satisfied and loved their attitude, a mix of class and understatement. We had dinner twice at the Viroth’s restaurant (5min.walk) also very good!!
