Following 3 weeks in Vietnam our final leg of our first Asian adventure was our trip to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. We picked a fantastic hotel the Palm Village Resort and Spa. The hotel lies half way between the temples of Angkor Wat and the town of Siem Reap. The hotel is a little bit of paradise. The facilities...

We stayed over Christmas 2016 and throughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were fantastic, the food very good and everyone could not have been more helpful. Because of the location, in and out of town is $6 return, we hired a motorbike (from Siem Rep) which allowed us to explore. Lovely people, great facilities, definately recccomend.

This is a small hotel comprising little Khmer-style bungalows in a jungle-type of setting. But with all the mod-cons: pool, air-conditioning, smart clean bathrooms, pleasant staff. And all within a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from downtown, mad, bad, loud Siem Reap! In the other direction, you are only 10 minutes from Angkor Wat . . . so you have the...

This was the perfect spot to return home to after busy days exploring the temples. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We felt like we found a little slice of heaven in Siem Reap.

it was the unwind trip - relax on the last day of my trip. Room was cosy. Surrounding was like in the jungle but not jungle. The pool was great. Breakfast is great too. It's buffet but the food is not display there. You want more breakfast you can ask just make sure you dont waste food.

This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you are not into the frenetic energy of the tourist crowd, this is the place. Out of the way, only 10 minutes by Tuk Tuk to town, it is quiet and peaceful around the clock. The small bamboo or wooden bungalows are comfortable, simple, and clean....

A respite of Peace and calm in a beautiful setting, in private cottages. The service is so warm, friendly and exceptional. A home away from home in the jungle but with every amenity you could want. Great fresh food, transportation, massages, pool and ambiance. So glad we found this gem ...a perfect place after hours of touring.

Very nice bamboo room, with good bed and nice bathroom. Very well airconditioned, also with a ventilator. And they'd prepared a nice cot for our 2 year old son. Great place to stay with kids: nice and friendly people, quiet, nice low-key restaurant area, and a swimming pool. The host manager was very nice and helpful, and her husband was...

Lovely, quaint resort with attentive staff and highlight of the stay was the excellent tuk-tuk driver Chan Shan who not only waited for us but brought us to the Muslim area of Siem Reap for halal cuisine. He was an honest and hardworking man, extremely patient and we hope more people will be his customers. As for the resort, we...

name Palm Village matches very much! Cosy hut type bungalow with all you need to stay. Very quiet, would say romantic place to stay. Nice pool and whole area is like a jungle with huts scattered across, Staff could speak better english but not much better we found later in 5star hotel.
