A rather gloomy and uninviting hotel. The Reception were courteous but not very helpful. The porters, doorman and wating staff were all very friendly and helpful but there seemed to be a lack of management and overseeing of the day to day operaration. The 'Help' desk was fairly useless and we made all our own arrangements. The breakfast was very... More

This hotel gives you all you need in Siem reap. Comfortable, clean, good breakfast buffet and nice people providing excellent service. So close to major attractions of the town - Old Market, Pub Street, Night Market, all kinds of eateries and entertainments that a 5 to 10 min walk takes you everywhere.

This is a great choice for its value and location. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the property is clean, rooms are spacious and well equipped--at least mine was. Their breakfast spread is also great. Only negative is that your have to reconnect to the internet frequently. We used the laundry shop nearby and paid $1.5 for 1.5kg... More

This was our first time to Cambodia. Manage your expectations. When we first arrived at the hotel, the exterior and lobby was great. Clean, VERY friendly staff. When we got to our room.... meh. It was very basic, the mattress was stiff as a board with flat pillows. The shower shifted from hot to cold every 2 minutes. Don't let... More

The Royal Crown is a big and nice hotel in Siem Reap - to be frank upon arrival I was quite in a bad shape (the taxi driver was probably considering dumping me on the side road to let me die) - so basically when checking in, the staff prepared me a bowl of some magic over-boiled rice (can't remember... We were very dissapointed with this hotel. The reviews on tripadvisor, agoda and booking were very good so we decided on this one. The location and breakfast were really nice, also staff was very polite and helpful. But our room was disgusting. The air con was hardly working, our bathroom was covered with filth and fungus, and toilet flush was... More

This hotel had a hard act to follow after the Lotte Legend in Saigon. Although showing signs of ageing it still retains plenty of old colonial charm. The staff we helpful and attentive but the food was below par. Decent enough place to stay but I would not eat there.

Stayed here for 5 days with a friend. Location was perfect! Across the bridge and 3 minutes later, you were partying on Pub Street. There is a Costa Coffee a few yards from the hotel and a laundry place right next door. The breakfast and room service at the hotel was really good with great selection. The rooftop bar also... Well, I'll give Royal Crown Hotel an average by comparison with other hotels on my 3 week vacation across Asia, all in the same price/star range, but I suppose it's an Average+ or a Very Good-. The location is nice, a short 5 minute walk from pub street which means you can sleep peacefully at night, but you also have... More
