Another perfect stay at the Rambutan, one week from 3rd to 11th November. It really does feel like my home from home. The character and ambience of the Rambutan blend well with its surroundings. It is perfectly placed down a small, quiet alley but well positioned for all the main attractions of Siem Reap town. All the staff are extremely welcoming, attentive and very helpful. In fact, some are more like friends now than hotel employees! One striking note is that over my visits the standard of both the property and the staff has been consistently high and it has never faltered. This is a great reflection on everyone involved with the Rambutan. Thank you all!
We could have not asked for a better place to stay. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The food was good. The premises were clean, comfortable, with a nice ambience, feeling like a home more than a hotel. Gay friendly/managed by gay owners. Great location - within walking distance to many bars and restaurants, and a short drive to major tourist attractions. I highly recommend this place.
A great 5 day stay with the best rain shower ever The staff are the hero of the hotel backed up by great service drinks and food. Great service from their recommended drivers and guides. Excellent wine for Siem Reap and the happy hour cocktails are excellent
We stayed at Rambutan for seven days and loved the experience. The hotel is a high quality property with a great restaurant and pool. On a quiet laneway, the hotel is a short walk to the centre of Siem Reap and next door to the popular Wild bar and cafe. But what really made our stay was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff - it felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again! It made our visit to Siem Reap very special. And if you can, think about staying in the hotel's Urban Residences - these are beautiful apartments with lovely decor and are very spacious.
My partner and myself loved this place. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They always greeted us with a big smile every time we were leaving the hotel for the day and when we were coming back. The food was very good, we Got to eat traditional Khmer food which was delicious. The massage service did not disappoint, I got far too many For anyone visiting Siem Reap in 2022, I highly recommend this place, it has an amazing vibe. We were supposed to stay in Siem Reap for 4 nights, but we loved the hotel and our room so much that we ended up staying 7 nights. You will not be disappointed.
I love coming to the Rambutan Resort and Boutique Hotels in Siem Reap, I have been coming here for many years. It is tucked away in a quiet lane within short walking distance to the centre of town, old market, restaurants etc. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff so friendly and helpful. The buildings are a charming style of architecture and most rooms have sweet little balconies draped in bougainvillea and greenery that overlook the pools. The rooms are all air conditioned and have fans and breakfast is included in the price. There is excellent wifi. I highly recommend a stay here.
We stayed at Rambutan Hotel recently and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the top notch service. The hotel is located in a lane within short walking distance from the centre of town activity but quiet enough from the hustle and bustle for guests to feel relaxed. We love cocktail hour from 4-6PM where cocktails go for 3.5 USD. Do try the Angkor Sunrise! The hotel also offers tour services and hotel pick ups. Though slightly more expensive than the going market rate, we got excellent drivers/guides and felt it was definitely money worth spent. Mr. Khun comes highly recommended as a guide/driver! The hotel also has a motorcycle rental shop close by. We learned that you could ride a scooter without a license in Cambodia as long as you are above the age of 18. All in all it was a lovely experience for us, and we hope to be back soon!…
Our 4night stay at Rambutan Resort (villa next to the main hotel) was beyond excellent - serene ambience lush with greenery, we had a comfortable twin room (split level) with a balcony adjacent to the pool and outdoor lounge. Beautiful furnishings. Hotel provided an excellent breakfast service that comes with menu options. Dinner and drinks were lovely as well! Tucked within a laneway, it is a stone’s throw from the river, old market and town centre - just a few minutes walk away. Hotel staff were incredibly warm, friendly and attentive - very accommodating towards our questions and needs. We were received by Mr Sruoch who checked us in seamlessly with a good overview and also organised a local tour guide for us. Mr Smith, our charismatic and knowledgeable tour guide, took us around the temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei over two full days and a half-day tour to Tonlé Sap and Kampung Phluk. Flexible arrangement and easy communication. Smith and Sruoch also assisted with food recommendations (Khmer) and gave further contexts on Siem Reap where possible, to help us gain a better understanding as visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and the tours - an outstanding experience at the Rambutan. We were really well taken care of, and our time in Siem Reap made extra special by the wonderful people we have met, Hope to return one day for a longer visit. Special thanks to the Rambutan team, Mr Sruoch and Mr Smith. Wholeheartedly recommend!…
We stayed in one of the small villa's which is just next to the main hotel. The property with the villa's has its own, very nice swinging pool, which you can literally jump into from the doorstep of the villa. The small two story villa, has a living area with balcony and sleeping area with a small, well-equipped bathroom. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and owners. Breakfast is excellent; good quality and broad choice between European and Khmer dishes. Hotel is located near to center of Siem Reap in quiet area near the river.
We had a truly relaxing stay at the Rambutan. The room was large and finely decorated. The food was plentiful and tasty. A big thanks to Mr Tong and the rest of the team for the excellent service (friendly while also very professional). We also enjoyed the pattern of the place that immediately makes you forget you're downtown. The owners of the place have also (genuine) concerns for the environment and social issues about which you can find useful information and tips in the room service files. Kudos for that
