Detailed Reviews
Enjoyed the last 6 nights of our visit to Siem Reap here with my Wife, Daughter and Grandmother
The hotel is exceptional, and was a great hotel to end our visit to this beautiful country
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming especially to our daughter, which makes more of an enjoyable experience
The hotel were very kind and upgraded my Grandmother’s room, free of charge, so that she could be on the same floor as us
Breakfast is unbelievable, a mixed choice of local and international foods to please everyone. All the food is fresh and cooked and prepared in front of you
The rooms are very spacious and clean with big beds and bathrooms, and we also had a balcony that was overlooking the pool which was nice to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings
Food and drinks in the hotel are reasonably priced, but also only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to all local restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel staff have a number of tuk tuk drivers, so can arrange for you to be picked up within a minute or so
We got friendly with one of the tuk tuk drivers, who throughout our stay took us everywhere we wanted; temples, fishing villages; restaurants etc. The cost of a tuk tuk was very reasonable, a round trip to the temples was around $15-$20, a visit to one of the fishing villages was a $25 round trip, and $6 round trip to the restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Borei Angkor, would definitely recommend and we would stay here again. Thank you.

Chose this hotel according to reviews, booked a Privilege floor room. Location is around 20 mins away from the airport, the hotel was kind enough to send a complimentary car to pick us up (and send us back as well).
The hotel is inspired by cambodian traditional furniture with dark wood, statues, lotus and floral accents. We were welcomed and ushered to the 4th floor for a quick check in, where we also booked guide and transportation for the next days temples visit. Probably more expensive than what you can find out there, but very convenient when you’re only spending a couple days in Siem Reap.
Our room was decent in size, the style is again traditional cambodian, maybe a bit old but i found it charming; it had everything we needed. Don’t expect a super luxury and modern room and you’ll be fine.
Breakfast was great with of course your usual continental breakfast, omelet station, crepes, pastries and fruits, but also cambodian dishes which i personally enjoyed. Dinner menu is quite fine with both western and local options, prices are reasonable; we didn’t try the two stars Michelin restaurant.
I tried the spa, and had a fantastic Khmer massage: one of the best massage i’ve ever had! I’d say it was the perfect blend of thai and deep tissue techniques - i loved it. It’s not cheap but i totally recommend it (it was better than at another famous Siem Reap spa).
The hotel is quite spacious even though not huge compared to some resorts, but it has everything a good hotel needs, big pool, bar, restaurant, cafe, souvenirs shop, fitness center and spa. Good thing is, you don’t need to walk a lot. All staffs were friendly and helpful through the whole stay.
The Borei Angkor is not far either from the city center, a couple dollars away by tuk tuk to Pub street, the night market etc...
Our stay was overall very pleasant, and i found it a good value for money, therefore i surely recommend it for your stay in Siem Reap.

We stayed for three nights at this fabulous 5 star hotel, end of Feb 2020. It was at the end of a Mekong River cruise with Riviera Holidays and perfect for some rest and relaxation before the long flight back to the UK. Cambodia is a beautiful country with such warm and kind people.
The hotel has a luxurious , calm atmosphere with delightful and hard working staff who help at every turn. Hotels elsewhere could learn a lot from the staff here, regarding customer service.
We stayed on the third floor, which has a privilege service meaning you get free laundry - really welcome when re packing your suitcase.
The food is top class, breakfast with everything you could wish for and lunch on the terrace by the pool. There is a spa with hot and cold plunge pool and our bedroom was spacious and well fitted with a small balcony to sit outside.
The hotel is well placed to visit bustling Siem Reap and reception will call you a Tuk Tuk taxi which costs about 3 USD into town where there are many shops , bars , restaurants and markets. We visited the Studio 24 restaurant and the Madam Butterfly which serve quality food at reasonable prices - about 25 USD per head including drinks. The hotel put on an Opera night with classical Cambodian dancers and fantastic meal at the poolside. There is so much more to explore around Siem Reap and of course a visit to the Angkor Wat temple is a must. The Siem Reap airport is modern , smart and clean and only 20 mins away from the hotel.
We did not expect Cambodia to be such a jewel - but it exceeded our expectations by a long way.

What an awesome experience not only the clean and spacious room we were offered, but the hospitality we encountered that made our stay in siem reap very present. We stayed in the deluxe room for 5 days 4 nights but on the last day my husband got stomach upset from all the delicious Cambodian dishes he ate. Angie from the hotel frontdesk offered us late checkout without second thought and told room service to bring up a pot of hot ginger tea to our room to make my husband feel better!!! What more can we ask for from a hotel! Their poolside restaurant also served a selection of yummy Cambodian and western dishes. Their fish amok is not to be missed! Even the waiters in the restaurant would make you feel like you are home. I also recommend aroma oil massage at their Spa, professional and clean. There are just too many small touches in this hotel that surprised us in a present way. Your visit to siem reap isn't complete without staying at this wonderful hotel! Thank you Borei Angkor! We have already recommended you to our friends and we will for sure come again!

Very well organised and managed hotel with obliging staff.
Good location on the outskirts of siem reap with remorqs (tuktuks) readily available for $2 to get to centre (pub street).
The hotel arranged a driver for the day to take us to and in between all the sites at Angkor Wat for $25.
Dollars acceptable everywhere, including markets.
Be fussy about your assigned room from the outset - we settled too easily for a room with view and noise of air conditioning units; we were offered an alternative but we had already unpacked (mistake) and didn’t want the hassle.
The lifts are slow and unpredictable ;
we were fortunate not to be stuck but did get sent up to the top floor instead of down
on at least 2 occasions. There are stairs hidden behind a sliding door.
Gym has 4 good treadmills, a cross trainer, a bike, weights machine and free weights, it’s quite hot.
Nice pool. WiFi good. Breakfast fine. Drinks very expensive.

my family and I stayed here for our second week in Siem Reap. We found the hotel to be absolutely beautiful! The welcome you receive is great , with all the hotel staff being friendly , happy and really professional. The manager Hak was really helpful in making our stay extra special The staff were especially great with our 2 year old daughter and made her feel really welcome .
Our room was beautiful - and had a balcony overlooking the pool, the bath room had a huge bath and separate shower which was great after a busy day in the heat . One of our family members was given a room upgrade to ensure we all stayed on the same floor which was really thoughtful
Breakfast was a favourite for us - the food was delicious and fresh and we loved the chefs being in front of you cooking eggs, pancakes, preparing fruit etc
The pool was gorgeous and we spent each afternoon relaxing on a lounger- my daughter especially loved the chocolate banana shakes from the pool bar.
Everything about this hotel was exceptional and we would love to come again

“Welcome Home” is the greeting you get when you arrive at this superb 5 Star hotel situated in the centre of beautiful Siem Reap, Cambodia. Staff amazing, room so we’ll appointed and the food superb. The hotel has been designed with a look to the past but with an eye to the future, the juxtaposition of old and new working seamlessly together. The building is open and welcoming and uncomplicated.
On arrival we are welcomed with a local cold drink of passion fruit ginger and honey allowing us to cool down and get to know our hosts.
The room was traditional with all mod cons and of the highest quality with everything you need for a long or long stay. Fantastic.
The breakfast was a mixture of cultures from western to Asian with an abundance of fresh fruits delivered by the ‘always smiling’ staff.
Poolside was clean and tranquil with plenty of sun loungers and towels available. Near the poolside there is the Mudita Spa which offers a wide range of treatments and massages. Very reasonable priced and well worth the experience. Connected to the spa is a steam room jacuzzi and a small work out gym with all the latest equipment.
In general, a superb hotel absolutely Highly recommended.
Myself and my wife would have no hesitation staying here again in the near future.

I stayed at the Borei Angkor Resort and Spa for four nights in March 2020, as part of a two week trip I was taking with a friend around Southeast Asia.
For full disclosure, my original booking was at their sister property, the Lotus Blanc hotel. However, upon check in, we were told that the Lotus Blanc hotel was undergoing construction work and we were being transferred to the Borei Angkor.
Upon first sight, the hotel was quite impressive. The lobby is huge and tastefully appointed with beautiful Khmer art and motifs. The check in staff, and the staff in general were extremely customer service oriented and very pleasant and helpful. This is true from the managers to the cleaning staff, the servers during breakfast, and the bell staff.
The rooms were very large. However, they were very dated. There are not enough outlets in the room (there were two that could be used). And the WiFi is very weak and slow. There’s a strange console on the cabinet between the beds that has the master light switch, a control for the climate system, and the on/off switch for the television. Thirty years ago, that may have seemed futuristic, now it just looks old fashioned.
The mattresses were very thin and for some reason, they only give you one key card for your room. There’s only climate control in your room so everywhere else in the hotel, it’s pretty warm and humid.
Despite the drawbacks, the real highlight for me was the breakfast. It is huge and varied. There are a number of “stations” where one can get freshly cooked eggs, noodle soup, Malaysian style cold noodles, and crepes. I swear I had the best yogurt of my life there.
Given the quality of the food and the stellar service, I want to give it five stars, but the property, especially the rooms, needs an update and better WiFi.

This is by far the best resort I have ever visited, and I will definitely come back. I recommend it without any concerns, every aspect is perfect. My son and daughter-in-law had recommended Borei Angkor Resort to me, as they stayed here when they were law students (so a younger generation loved it, and it was affordable for them), and absolutely loved the hotel, the service, and the warmth of the staff. From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed, the staff was kind, understanding, available, and professional. Every single staff member was eager to help. People remembered my name, they spoke English fluently, and there was always someone available, whether it was at the front reception, for arranging tours, in the restaurants to serve or help with menu choices, and housekeeping was helpful and polite. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every corner and space is elegantly decorated, which feels both classic Cambodian (lots of wood, and marble) and modernized. The rooms are incredibly spacious, impeccably, clean. Everything that you could want, or need us at your fingertips. The bathrooms are spotless, the large, soaking tub of pleasure, the shower and all amenities exceed western standards.
I highly recommend going on the tours which they offer and fully arrange. The drivers are safe, the guides are very knowledgeable, and speak impeccable, English. The prices are very affordable, very fair. In fact, the entire hotel is an outstanding value, it definitely earns its five stars, (deserves 6 ✨)and the low price is surprising. I recommend the food. The breakfast buffet is the largest, most varied, extensive Buffet I have ever seen, from the United States through Europe and Asia. The food is excellent.
The outdoor setting around the pool, the gardens and pool bar are beautiful and inviting. The spa cannot be topped. I tried several services while I was here, I got the best massage I have ever had. There are so many options for services!
In summary, it is worth a trip to Cambodia just to stay at the Borei Angkor Resort and Spa! You will feel like royalty!

We spent 4nights for summer vacation, and I can say that everything was excellent.
The location of the hotel is near the old market which is a 10-minute travel by the famous tuk tuk.
As for the room, it is surprisingly comfortable. It is a big room with a fancy bathtub and a shower, it was an extremely luxurious bathroom experience.
When you look outside from the veranda you can see the stunning view of the hotel's swimming pool.
When it comes to the breakfast, it was served in variation. You can choose from different cuisines all around the world.
The hotel's concierges are very hospitable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to those who are going to have their vacation!

Is there a supermarket or liquor store nearby please?
Thank you
Hi there. There is a supermarket where you can buy groceries and liquor and it's walking distance from the hotel. There are also tuk-tuks by the entrance and they can take you there. Fare is only 2 dollars. Wet market is right across the street for fruits. Enjoy.
Hi Susan, the price for lunch and dinner at a good restaurant can cause about $8USD to $10USD.
There are afew massage parlors which you can compare the prices. Average price for massage which was a $80USD for 2 and half hours. It also depends on the package you are interested in.
Breakfast is 6.30am to 10am and is amazing loads of options very tasty
