Overall I had a good time staying with Thomas who is Danish and Channa his Cambodia wife and their three lovely kids. Channa is a very good cook making tasty local Cambodian food daily. Food is bought fresh from the local market each day. Joining the family for khmer styled dinner is U.S. $ 10.00, initially this wasn’t made clear,...

Everything I had read on TripAdvisor comments on the experience of staying at Channa's homestay was true: suitably located for temple visit; home-like environment; confortable and suitable facilities kept to high standards in terms of cleaningness; welcoming host family; very good home cooked meals (we stayed two nights and chose to not get into town for evening meals; having Channa's...

Dear Paula, Thank you for this wonderful review! It was such a pleasure having you and Nic here, not least because you are the first Portuguese guests we have had, and Portugal being one of only a handful of European countries I have never visited. We had some very pleasant and interesting conversations over dinner about this and other matters....

Loved staying with Thomas and Channa and their kids! Close to the park and very comfortable room. Also, as I eat Gluten Free, Channa made me a Cambodian breakfast every day and I missed that when I went back to Canada! Also, such a beautiful setting and we loved walking into town for supper, as well as riding bicycles available...

What a nice surprise! Thank you for your review - almost a year after your stay with us :-) It is great to know that you remember us so well. I also clearly remember the gluten free issue and am glad that we were able to help you out. Fortunately, as you learned, the Cambodian diet is naturally gluten free....

This was such a perfect place to stay, its 3km from Siem Reap and gives a flavour of country life. Thomas is a charming host and has invaluable knowledge of the area, while Channa is a superb cook! I took the budget option and stayed in the wooden hut which I enjoyed immensely. Bikes can be hired to go into...

This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting the Angkor temples. Our host, Thomas, is Danish but speaks perfect English and was really helpful. He certainly enabled us to get the best from the 3 days we spent in Cambodia. His wife, Chanda, was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I asked her if I could do some...

In the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap Siem Reap, Channa's Angkor Homestay is an Oasis. It is located inside the park, only minutes from the Temples. From the moment that their driver Mr. Chhin picked us at the airport till we made our sad goodbyes this was a wonderful experience. The home is located in a peaceful, quiet...

We arrived in the hottest part of the year for Cambodia, but our hosts Channa and Thomas made us very welcome. The homestay is at the end of a dirt track, leading from the main road to Siem Reap and Angkhor Wat. There are two superior rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom and another smaller garden room available. All the...

Channa's Angkor Homestay was my best choice when I visited Cambodia in Feb.2016. Its location is perfect for visiting temples and downtown just less than 30mins. to either way by Tuk Tuk. The property is very simple but that makes it become unique to compare to hotels. The garden, the kids, the rooms and the animals just made me feel...
