Spacious rooms (compared to other hostels), comfy beds, pool, bar & restaurant, close to night market, town & lots of cafes, AC, WiFi, and friendly staff. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, they had a nice mix of co-ed and female rooms available, as well as rooms of all sizes. The paintings on the wall around the pool, I felt,...

I was walking by and heard awesome music and a full size billiards table. So I had to stop in for some cold beers and pool. The cues are not very straight, the felt needs replaced, the balls are about 3/4 size of regulation size billiard balls and the cue ball is like a large gold ball with so many...

these guys are a cut above. location is great. close the action, but not right in the middle of it. nice folks running the place. management has good policies in place, you can use the pool down the street at the other HI hostel. but i can't give it 5 stars, because, like a lot of accomadations in Cambodia, they...

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and we booked two twin bed rooms. We were allocated two rooms on the third floor. The rooms are comfortable with aircon and fan. The corner room is bigger. While hot shower with good water pressure is provided, the water smelled of rust and the colour is brownish. Don't use the water...

This was a clean, friendly place to stay with very comfortable beds. Our room was private and had air conditioning. Some things we enjoyed about staying here was their downstairs pool table and the rooftop pool at their neighboring property, HI Siem Reap Deluxe. One minor issue was that our AC would randomly stop working and need to be reset....

HI siem reap was an excellent last minute find for me. The dorm rooms are smaller than most so you can still get a bit of privacy, I booked and paid the price for a 5 person dorm but ended up being put in a 4 person dorm. The room was really clean with comfy beds and aircon. There's a...

We stayed here for two nights and unfortunately we had a few issues. The pool is under maintenance next door, the fan was broke in our first room and barely moving in the second - it is very hot without one. When we moved back to the fixed room the fan was either off or going 100mph and the motor...

I spent 3 nights in Hi Siam Reap backpacking with friends. We are extremely satisfied of the hostel and will for sure come back. Rooms are cleaned with private bathroom and AC.The staff is extremely welcoming and warming, among the best we have even found. The location is perfect, exactly in front of the Market, five minutes from Pub street,...

My wife and I like to discover the world, but dislike paying premium for when we normally have our eyes closed. Sleeping is pretty much the same in a luxury hotel or a hostel. Our aim is for a hostel and spending our money on tour guides and/or entrance fees. Hostel Siem Reap is one of these places. We arrived...

Exactly what I have come to expect from hosteling international. Comfortable basic accomodations. Very friendly staff. This hostel is a bit older than the Siem reap deluxe which is reflected in the price. But if you stay at this one, you can still use the pool at the other one and I felt like the location of this one was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a clean, friendly-staffed hostel located within 2 minutes walk of the centre of Siem Reap, and just 5 minutes from the famous Pub Street. The spacious rooms are beautifully furnished, very clean and with a TV and fridge in every room, you can't go wrong. On the second floor, a wide chill-out balcony provides good views of the city, and the perfect place for some down time away from the bustle of the streets or the scale of the Temples. The hostel is directly opposite the site of a brand new market, which is currently being built, and opens in July 2011. We also offer a free pick up service from anywhere in the city, and very helpful tourist information on just about anything! We hope to see you soon. ... more   less
