We were very happy to stay here earlier this month. Samnang is very helpful on the front desk and can arrange transport to temples. Hotel itself was spotless and rooms were large. Free Wifi, computers available if required, swimming pool is great little bonus too. Location is excellent as it is far enough away from hectic Pub Street, but only...

We were happy with our stay here. The value can't be beat. Even though it's not in the main area of Siem Reap, pub street is only a short walk away and the quiet setting is a nice reprieve. There are plenty of places to rent bikes or scooters close to this hotel, and we arranged our bus to Phnom...

We stayed here in November 2012 and thought it was excellent value for money. We paid $20 a night for a twin room, it was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The whole hotel was spotless and the pool great way to cool down after visiting the temples. It's also in a great location with a 5 minute walk...

Lovely place, starting from staff which is always smiling and being helpful. Spacious, impeccable rooms, large bathrooms and nice balconys. The staff can arrange a tuk-tuk to the Angkor temples for 8-15 dollars (depending on a route). Rich restaurant menu - all dishes are tasty and worth trying. Value for money.

We stayed at the shadow of Angkor II twice during our trip to Cambodia. The OldMarket and PubStreet area are just a 5minute walk away. The rooms are very clean and the small pool is great for a refreshing dip after a sweaty day at the Temples of Angkor. You can get a tuk tuk driver at the hotel, for...

I have stayed at Shadow of Angkor II twice on my travels. Once in 2009 and now in December 2012. The staff are wonder and friendly. The rooms are reasonably price and clean. Hot showers, clean beds and WiFi that works. The restaurant has excellent food for all your meals. They have tuk tuk on site. Ask for Sophal and...

I stayed at Shadow of Anchor 2 in 2009 with my mother. We were very lucky to end up there as we had not planned a hotel reservation. We were quite relieved when we walked into the lobby: the place was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable and a 5 minute walk from downtown. Our room was amazing - well...

I stayed here for six nights in December 2012, and I was very happy with the experience. From my late night pickup at the local bus station 4km through to my departure by minibus to Bangkok, all of the staff went out of their way to make sure that I had the best possible experience in Siem Reap. The location...

This is a clean, friendly hotel with Cambodian staff (and, I think, ownership). My requests were dealt with quickly, laundry done for a couple of dollars, and Sophal took me around the temples by tuk tuk, knowing in advance exactly where I would like my photo taken! Skip the rip-off joints and stay here!
