I would say this is one of my worst vacations in several years. We booked a family suite for 4 adults & an 11 year old child. After arriving there we realized that this nothing but a normal room where they packed 3 beds (1 queen & 2 twin). There was barely any room for anything else; no balcony. The...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of December 2012. All in all it was a perfectly okay stay. Since I have never stayed in any other hotel in Siem Reap I can't really compare it but I am sure there are plenty of other alternatives offering fairly similar service and facilities. I picked this hotel...

Thank you once again to Vannak and his staff for another amazing stay at Shining Angkor. This is a beautiful hotel that takes you away from the hustle and the bustle of the outside chaos, The staff are amazing - so helpful with everything, the rooms are an absolute credit to the hotel - so clean and the beds so...

I just recently spent a few nights at Shining Angkor and had a very nice stay - the hotel is extremely clean and hospitable, they have transportation available 24/7, they arranged a guide for a day trip for us, and the restaurant was very tasty. Beautiful decor too!

I stay in a lot of international hotels and this is by far one of my favourites ever. Incredibly clean - shoes are left at the entrance. Rooms are spotless with many individual touches. Cleaning and replacement of towels and water was done perfectly every day. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and highly individualistic - much nicer and...

It felt like a home away from home. The manager and staff are soooo friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and make things as pleasant as possible. The decor is absolutely stunning, with dark, wooden ceilings and furniture fit for a king (or queen!) The rooms are fantastic! Loved the fact that the hotel is just down the road...

Inside it looks like designer's 5* - everything is made of carved wood with love and care. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and cozy - greatest beds I've ever met. The location of the hotel is very nice - 10 minutes by tuktuk to Angkor or Night Market but the place is very quiet....

Now, please remember this hotel is a boutique hotel, so it is smaller than some of the rest, also do not expect feather down comforters, marble bathrooms or anything you'd see at a Hyatt. With that said, the hotel is excellent! The hotel was very nicely decorated with wood, trees and flowers throughout. The hotel was clean, quiet, friendly and...

Shining Angkor boutique (Sab) is a four story building with with stunning handcrafted woodwork filling it. Any one piece alone would be stunning yet this hotel contains hundreds! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeably about the area. The location in my opinion is prime as it is half way between town and Angkor wat, and the hotel provides a...
