Barang was the man! The hotel is very nice, looks beautiful, the beds are very comfy but what made it really special was the support and service of Barang and his colleagues. There are free tuktuk to the city and quality of the hotel is very nice. Worth a stay for sure.

The Embassy Angkor understands that in 2024, women travel alone, and they set s standard for other hotels to travel. I stayed two nights on the Angkor Wat package. This package includes airport pick up and drop off, two nights in the suite with private pool, breakfast, discounts on spa and F&B, hi tea, and a driver and English speaking guide to the three most visited temples, and tuk tuk transfer to the Pub Street and Night market area.
The room was as advertised; a very large bowl-like spa bath, a private pool in secluded back patio, rainbow shower, sleep-inducing bed - the works! The grounds are well maintained, green and felt of Khmer culture.
Food was good. The restaurant was very cute and the waiters were extremely attentive. I wish room service was not western food but I was able to order from a different menu. The signature drinks were not my favorite but that’s just me. Good Gin and tonics though.
The spa was fantastic! I did the aromatherapy oil massage and a foot massage after a long day of walking the temples. Both sessions are in my top 5 massage experiences (and I spa often).
One of the highlights was the vintage car escort to the temples. These cars are beautiful and must be expensive to maintain. They definitely turn heads! The driver also had cold water AND cold towels that were infused in aromatic water ready after every temple! The guide does not work for the hotel but I want to give him a shout out for the depth of knowledge and his patience throughout the day as I stopped to stare at every minute thing during the tour. They took me to a Khmer taste restaurant that had amazing fish with mango salad for lunch.
Another highlight and the reason I would come again, was the customer service. Key, Ms. Poch, and Oran went above an beyond for my comfort and safety. They created a WhatsApp group to remain connected during the day, contacted restaurants on my behalf, arranged pick up and drop off to anywhere I needed or wanted to go. They even changed my remaining Riel into USD and ensured I had late check out.
Overall, staying at the Embassy Angkor Resort and Spa made my time in Siem Reap as a solo brown female traveler relaxing and inclusive.

August is the quiet season so it was peaceful and not crowded. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that we really enjoyed our holiday. Breakfast was delicious: especially the omelette, the fresh fruit so beautifully presented, the toasted pain au chocolat and the iced long black coffee. They give you free tuk tuk rides in and out of the town centre, they organised laundry for us, and we knew we could ask for help with anything. Prior to arrival we requested a SUV and driver to collect us from the airport which was the ideal way to start the holiday. Our room was very spacious and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. We booked the suite pool view which was steps from the pool and was gorgeous. The fridge in our room kept the beer very cold which was so welcome after a hot few hours of morning touring. The air conditioning was perfect and in fact everything in the room was beautifully maintained so it all looked new. A favourite time for us was sitting by the pool and ordering delicious treats and drinks from the poolside bar. All round a very lovely place to stay and we’re so thrilled that we chose to stay here. We felt spoiled by the many lovely and attentive staff; it is a gorgeous place.

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days total. The last destination on our ,month long trip and we saved the best for last. Out of that 2 countries, 2 cities and 5 islands we have been on this was by far the best hotel of the trip and best hotel either of us have ever stayed in. ALL the staff were so accommodating and friendly, we felt like royalty. We booked a stay that included breakfast and there were so many options. There was a continental display for you to go up and help yourself, and then a menu for you to select what kind of breakfast you wish, and you could order from it as ,any times as you wanted and the staff would top up your drinks for you. We also made use of the spa and had massages each day. Tried a few from their menus and loved them all! There is a main pool which looked lovely, but when we arrived we were offered to upgrade our room if we wanted to for a small fee which was a private pool room and we made the right decision. It was stunning. I had also been craving a bath this holiday and my dreams came true with the large bathtub in the middle of the bedroom. The hotel offer a tuktuk service into the city every day and there is a pick up point that you can go to to return to the hotel. The rooms have rooms service, and the hotel also use WhatsApp to communicate. We used that to speak to the receptionist to book in our massages, and you can use the WhatsApp to arrange for your pick up of tuktuk too. We never went into the city as we had 1 tour pre booked which was Angkor wat. The hotel gave us a breakfast bag to pick up at reception which was available for us before our tour. The hotel also booked tours and travel for you if you need. Exceptional service and we loved our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Embellished with details from Cambodian culture and only less than 10minutes away from the city centre - The Embassy Angkor was a beautiful and cosy resort to settle down from the busy rustle of Siem reap.
The rooms were very spacious, the pool was kept clean and perfect temperature and the massage centre was also hygienic and masseuses were highly skilled. Also, the complimentary high tea tastings were a great way to try some of Cambodians treats whilst relaxing by the pool. The breakfast was undoubtedly the highlight as every dish was absolutely spectacular.
All staff members were so highly professional, friendly and eager to help. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and definitely come again in the future.

What a beautiful hotel! We were warmly welcomed and guided through the lush property, past the beautiful pool area to our room. The property is like a resort in Hawaii. When the sliding glass doors to our room were opened, we were in a spacious room with a large, round, stone bathtub and an equally large bed. Many of the rooms have private pools including ours. The pool in a private area with chairs and beautiful plants were outside of another set of sliding glass doors. There was a sitting area by the TV and an armoire with robes. A large, personalized breakfast is included and the luches and dinners were delicious and reasonably priced. The only thing more inviting than the property and our room was the staff. They were amazing. From the cleaning staff, to the young lady who prepares the food for afternoon tea, to the dining room staff and office staff, we have never been made to feel more welcome. Each staff member made the visit personal by stopping to talk with us, asking about our plans for the day, making recommendations, and telling us about their culture. We were made to feel very special by Phanna and Phearum in the restaurant. Phanna, the restaurant supervisor, checked in on us daily to make sure our visit was excellent. He told us many interesting things about the history and people of Cambodia and we enjoyed speaking with him. Phearum, the Cap. of the restaurant, guided us thorough many meals, once recommending the Khmer Cuisine dinner. We are picky eaters, and he had already learned from our interactions that we could not eat spicy food, so we trusted him, and it was one of the most delicious meals we have ever had. We were also fortunate enough to have many pleasant interactions with Phosin. This young man is very personable and shared stories about the Khmer people and life in modern Cambodia, as well as being curious about our life in the U.S. We looked forward to our conversations with him and our interactions with him enriched our stay. The Embassy Angkor is about a 20-30 minute tuk-tuk ride from the Angkor Wat complex. Our driver took us to buy our tickets and explained many things about the temples and structures we passed on the way. The hotel office staff will arrange for a tuk-tuk, and you can tell them your plans the day before so they can make any arrangements you need. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we are able to return to Cambodia.

We arrived with my wife for a 3-day stopover. We had booked from Phnom Pen. So on arrival everything is fine the room is rather clean and welcoming but.... The hotel staff can't find the key 🙄
We came like many tourists to visit some temples in Angkor, the hotel staff offered us several solutions and itineraries. We ask them to find us a French-speaking guide, which apparently poses no problem for them. The next day when we were leaving, the hotel reception told us that they had not found a French-speaking guide....... No one bothered to warn us beforehand.... The staff spoke to barely English and even less read it.... One evening we decide to go eat in a restaurant in town, on the hotel brochure it is indicated that a toc toc is free and made available by the hotel. But we are told 2 dollars per way or 4 dollars per round trip because the hotel is not located in town. After checking it is located 350 m from the city center 😡😡😡
Another evening the hotel tuktuk dropped us off at 9 p.m. in the city center for free, and when we called them back at 11:15 p.m. we were told that it was too late to pick us up 😳😳😳 again we had to take our own money. a tuktuk.... Otherwise for the happy hours in this hotel you should know that they are only happy hours without alcohol, with very high-sounding names of non-alcoholic cocktails when in fact they are only diabolo grenadine or diabolo mint... I ask to go to a sauna, it is broken, it took a little over an hour for hotel staff to finally know how to make it work, it will only work for 30 minutes. Finally, we were presented with the bill to which we had added the consumption of bottles of Evian from the room even though we did not touch them.
It's a real shame for this hotel which was practically empty, I'm starting to understand why, the swimming pool and the hotel itself inside are splendid but that's not all.........

We just spent three days in Siem Reap at the Embassy Angkor Resort. Discovered almost by chance, this hotel is an oasis of serenity and peace. Our room was large and spacious, very functional, always spotless, with a beautiful view of the pool. The small and pretty breakfast room, with Mau, Mr Polin and Sa Molika Chaneath always ready to satisfy your every wish with a smile and so much kindness. At the reception I cannot but mention Mr Ran and all the other staff whose names I unfortunately do not remember. One evening we had dinner at the hotel, by the pool, and we ate very well. Unmissable appointment between 15 and 16 in the afternoon, tea with fruit and various treats by the pool. The hotel is about 10 minutes by tuc tuc from downtown Siem Reap and shuttle service is kindly offered. Our stay was perfect and I can only thank all the staff. The Embassy Angkor Resort is absolutely recommended!

We (1 adult, 3 children) stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful place. Our room was huge (2 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, private pool) and super clean. The whole facility was very nice, luxurious and clean. The pool was wonderful and you could relax very well. Breakfast was excellent and in the afternoon there were fresh fruits, cakes and tea/coffee for high tea. The staff was unique and always approachable, friendly and very accommodating. We would like to contact Mr. Thank Barang, Molika and everyone else.
The free shuttle service to the city by tuktuk was great and all drivers were always very neat and prudent.
We also booked our AirportShuttle through the hotel, as well as trips to Angkor and Tonle Sap. I would like to thank our driver Hoihoi in particular. Last but not least, I would like to thank Lorn Leap, our English guide. He speaks excellent English and is omniscient about Angkor. He also showed us things that are outside the usual tourist routes (local markets, Road 66, ...).

My second time at the Embassy Angkor Resort & Spa and real gem! A boutique hotel colonial style, very nicely decorated and maintained, the hotel is not too big, so it is very cozy and tranquil for those who want to avoid crowds, with a lovely pool to chill the Cambodian heat. Serving complementary high tea and Tuk Tuk to town . And what definitely defines the hotel is the friendly staff, From Long who picked us up at the airport to the entire reception staff: Good evening Sharon,
Mr.Key(OM),Mr. Koy(FOM) and Mr.Leab,
Mr.Ran, Mr.Barang and Miss.Heang all from the reception staff who assisted us throughout our stay and basically everyone you encounter on staff, that will always greet you with a great warm big smile. Will come back for a 3rd time if I will be lucky enough to return to Siem Reap!

Thank you so much 🙏

About 25 minutes on the Tuk Tuk. Yes, the hotel has different pricing for different transportation and for different types of tour. We only did Angkor watt tour on the Tuk Tuk, and they charge us about USD 20. For the car, it could be about USD 30.
