An outstanding place to stay in Siem Reap- staff and facilities are amazing! Hom Dan was a particular delight in the restaurant- always smiling and cheerful, and willing to stop and chat when she wasn’t busy. The front desk staff were always able to fulfill any request. The hotel is a little far from the center of town, but free tuktuk transportation is available to get you there.
I stayed at Anantara Angkor last week for my birthday and I had an amazing stay! The staff is amazing and friendly, the facilities stunning and there is an incredible attention to details. I have no words to describe the massage at the Spa! I strongly recommend stay here, you would not regret it! Thanks to the staff for making my birthday unforgettable!
We experienced a quiet, peaceful, elegant stay at Anankora Resort. The staff was extremely accommodating. They even offer complementary taxi service to wherever we want to go. And then, the taxi picks you up when you’re done with dinner!
From check-in to check-out, the Anantara Angkor resort in Siem Reap was fabulous. The staff is very professional, courteous, helpful and kind, and the room service was amazing. We also ate in the main restaurant, and the food was prompt and delicious. The pool is very nice, and peaceful. It's located off a main road very close to Angkor Wat, and I'd recommend a second story room to avoid foot traffic noise. The stairs can be a tad slippery if it's raining, so be careful. The property is beautiful, and well-kept. Attention to detail is everywhere, from the artfully arranged fruit basket in your room when you check in, to art in the main areas. Our family enjoyed it thoroughly, and we highly recommend it.
Excellent services provided by the entire team! Thanks to the warm welcome reception by Mr Supratik Guha, the GM and Ms Vannak Mom & her front office team. We are really impressed with the attention provided during our stay in the resort. Keep it up!
What an amazing resort! I bought a package through Travelzoo and it was worth every penny. My car from the airport was met by 4 employees, including the manager, who took me directly to my room to check me in. The staff is absolutely wonderful and catered to my every need. The food was fantastic, and I loved having an on demand tuk tuk to take me into Siem Reap. I don't know if this is normally included but it was part of my package. The grounds are stunning and my room had every amenity I could possibly need, including mosquito repellant! If you are in Siem Reap, I highly recommend staying here.
The hotel is definitely worth a visit. There were renovations going on and wish we had been informed but when complete I'm sure it will be wonderful. The manager was particularly attentive and the staff all very polite and friendly.
This hotel has excellent, attentive staff (including the General Manager), clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent food in the restaurant. The Staff was very attentive and would anticipate my need I may have. This experience was far better than the big US hotel chains. The entire staff knew our names and room number. It was very personal.
Beautiful small resort set amongst lush greenery in the quiet part of town just 5 mins from the airport. Town is about 10-15 mins by tuk tuk which the hotel easily organises for guests. The hotel staff & service are nothing short of perfection from booking to checkout. Dining & drinks were decently priced (unlike some other hotels we’ve stayed at) and were excellent. Save for some usual wear & tear for an older hotel, everything else was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
Firstly, the staff here are exceptional and attentive, from the manager to the cleaners, all incredibly friendly & courteous, I felt incredibly welcome here. There is an innate beauty and humility to the people of Siem Reap. Email communication from the hotel, from booking to departure, was consistently informative and assuring to make sure my needs were catered for. For a luxury hotel, the cost of my staying here for 10 days mid-Oct was remarkably great value for money. The pool area is sizeable, the spa and gym facilities are quite small but even so still useful, and unfortunately the wellness programmes promoted on their website were not available at this time, but it was no matter and I had a relaxed time regardless. I enjoyed a couple of hotel spa treatments, a little pricey compared to the equivalent elsewhere in town, but then here you have the convenience of being in your own hotel, especially after a rejuvenating body wrap or massage, and the spa staff did an expert job! The general state of the hotel is in very good condition, so much so I even enjoyed some days just relaxing around in the hotel as there are many comfortable seating areas to lounge around in. This hotel is designed to reflect the area it resides in so there's plenty of greenery and earthy tones which gives a very zen-like feeling. The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from that I ate here all ten mornings, from western food (pastries, cereals) to the more preferable local cuisine (fresh fruit, salads and juices). I had some trepidation about water quality throughout Cambodia but at this hotel and eating out in town I had no health issues. The Premier Suite I stayed in was like a cosy apartment, very homely and spacious. The hotel offers various pillow options if your needs are particular. My British electrical devices didn't requite adaptors at all as the sockets directly accommodate 3-pin plugs and USB-A cables . The convenience of location from the airport is excellent (a 10min cab ride) and at the hotel it's so quiet and no planes overhead you wouldn't think you're so close to it. The road the hotel is situated on is unremarkable, but a 5-10min tuk tuk ride for ~$5 will get you into the more central part of the city for plenty of cheap but great quality food and excursion options. Angkor Wat itself is ~15mins ride from the hotel. The immediate area and city itself felt very safe to walk around in, English is very commonly spoken here so communication was no stress for me. Looking back a week later I mostly remember lots of warm, welcoming smiles, an unpretentious atmosphere and I felt right at home here. All in all, a very serene experience and I'd 100% come back here again for more of the same.…
