Choose this hotel if you stay in Sieam Reap. The staff here are truly top notch, they provide a warm welcome with a cold wash cloth, ice cold drinks, peanuts and fruit upon arrival while you are checking into your room. This hospitality made a great first impression after traveling for 2 days to reach Siem Reap. My room was always clean and stocked with bottled water. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners worked well. My favorite features of the room were the walk in shower and balcony. The breakfast was good, it was a buffet style but each morning the chefs had a special dish they would cook upon your request. They have an assortment of fresh tropical juices, traditional western foods such as eggs and sausage, and if your feeling more adventurous they have a few local items like noodles and cakes. Dinner and lunch were just as delicious, they had homemade pho in addition the the buffet. A couple of the mornings while we were eating breakfast, one of the staff members played the roneat ek (traditional Khmer bamboo xylophone) which was a nice touch. The hotel is located about a 5 min walk from pub street (if you are a slow walker like me). They also have a massage/spa inside of the hotel which I recommend after a day of exploring the local temples of Angkor Wat. I thought it was refreshing that they put cold cucumber slices on your face during the massage and offered you tea afterwards. This is a 5 star hotel with 5 star service in a great location if you are traveling to Siem Reap I highly recommend it. I want to say a special thanks to Nary as she was very helpful and made sure I had a pleasant stay. I will return to this hotel the next time I visit Siem Reap.

Last time I was in Siem Reap I was by myself and stayed in a lower cost hotel. This time with my 75 year old mother I wanted a hotel that had a little higher comfort level but still within the city. I booked Golden Temple Boutique after reading many stellar reviews.
I have to say I agree with the reviews. The service was fantastic. The staff get to know the guests and their preferences, and in my mom's case this meant they had her morning tea exactly how she wants it: 2 teabags on the side, with a pot of hot water, a cup of steamed milk, and extra sugars. We also did a cooking class across the street at their sister property, and my mom was smiling ear to ear the whole time. Definitely a highlight for her. My mom was also very pleased with the laundry service, which had very worried initially. Freshly washed and neatly folded clothes were delivered back to our room in a wicker box every day.
The location is quite good, walking distance to the night market and also Artisans of Angkor. A couple bucks for a tuk-tuk booked with the hotel will get you to most other nearby destinations and back.
The only issue we had is that the larger rooms are designed for couples which means the bath has no door! My mom was quite freaked out by this and we moved to a room which had a pull down shade for the bathroom. I got in the habit of hanging out in the lobby while my mom was bathing to give her full privacy.

We visited in Nov 19. GTB is a gem and the exceptional service offered by staff and management is worth recognition and deserves to be highlighted. Right from booking to our departure we were well looked after. We were met on arrival with cold drinks and refreshing cold towels; a welcome treat after a long journey. Check in was smooth and the room was great, with a special surprise for our anniversary! The room was clean spacious, it had all mod cons expected, a fabulous rain shower and was a welcome retreat after touring all day. Breakfast was included along with numerous perks such as spa vouchers, lunch, dinner whilst watching a traditional Cambodian dance. All highly recommended. The choice of food was good especially for vegetarians, I recommend the vegetarian Cambodian curry. We were also provided with some key Cambodian phases and a mobile phone just in case we needed any additional help, a very nice touch in ensuring you are looked after. We booked our tours with GTB and would recommend for convenience and comfort especially in the hot weather. Both our driver and tour guide Chham were fantastic. Both were knowledgeable and as an added bonus Chham was fantastic with a camera, he took some great pictures, provided a great insight into the Temples and local knowledge. Would highly recommend having a tour guide. GTB is also in a great location, 5 mins walking distance from pub street, which is very lively, lots of entertainment and places to eat, drink and shop. Overall we had a wonderful visit, all the staff and the hospitality offered was exceptional and we look forward to visiting again!

This is a gem of a hotel and a must stay for those travelling to the area. Their service and attentiveness is top notch. When my husband and I arrived we were greeted warmly and professionally by the reception. We were politelynasked to sit down and enjoy some refreshments of tea, fruit and nuts while they checked us in. Afterwards we were escorted to our room, which was serenely and beautifully decorated. Our room seemed more like a small apartment. The concierge showed us around our room, showed us how everything worked and then presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay. Fresh bottles of potable water are scattered throughout the room, which they refill daily with clean, mineral water. Because it's a small hotel, with only 19 rooms, the level of customer service and attention to details went above and beyond any expectation. They have a breakfast buffet every morning with many dishes to chose from both - Cambodian as well as Western. We will go back to this hotel in a heartbeat when we travel to Cambodia again. I simply cannot give enough stars or praise for everything about our entire stay there.

My wife and I spent 3 fabulous nights at the Golden Temple Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The room was luxurious and spacious, with both a bath and a wet room shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had all the extras you'd expect from a top hotel. The best thing of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Nary from reception arranged a two day guided tour of the temples in the Angkor area. Our guide, Mr Cheung, showed us the main temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, and several others that we hadn't heard of. He was full of information about all of them. Nary had arranged for a driver, Mr Ann, to be with us for the two days. He was great, always waiting with cold face towels and bottles of cold water when we returned to the car after each temple we saw. On the last night we had a short walk around Siem Reap and to Pub Street, which was very close to the hotel. Pub Street is a location with a range of restaurants and bars to suit everyone's taste, and at great prices. It also seemed incredibly safe to walk around late at night, with lots of families with young children out enjoying the lively atmosphere. All-in-all a fabulous trip and a great experience. I would happily recommend a trip to Siem Reap, and especially to the Golden Temple Boutique.

Stayed three nights in this hotel whilst we visited Angkor Wat. The hotel, which is situated in the centre of Siem Reap, is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. The rooms are large and again beautifully designed, very comfortable with all mod cons.
The service at the hotel was simply outstanding, with every member of staff professionally trained, friendly and they simply could not do enough for us. The hotel provided free transfers to and from the airport, a complimentary local dinner and a picnic lunch (which we took to Angkor Wat). It was also my wife’s birthday during our stay and the staff came to our room to present her with a surprise birthday cake!
They also made all the arrangements for us to tour Angkor Wat which made it easy and relaxing to do.
Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel, made even more enjoyable due to the superb service we received.

We loved this hotel in Cambodia for its authentic decor and amazing eye for design — felt like it was inspired by the movies Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider. The building and rooms are simply beautiful and unique to Cambodia and unlike any other hotel we’ve been to. We got the suite and it was worth every penny. Huge with a wonderful layout and bathtub. The staff are extremely courteous, kind and attentive, true to Cambodian hospitality. The food was delicious and the welcome tea and snack was no joke. The pool area is distinct in that it is two levels with a fabulous pool drink menu. The attention to detail by this hotel management is extraordinary with really good taste. It was also wonderful to have access to their sister property right across the street. You get two pools and two restaurants, a morning music performance in one and an evening one in the other. They should mention this when checking people in because we only found out about it by following the music to discover a wonderful dinner performance across the street! Cambodia was made more memorable through our stay at this hotel and we highly recommend it.

We've had a really lovely stay so far at Golden Temple Boutique - still have one night left! Our suite has a huge, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room and an outdoor terrace/balcony. The aircon has been very effective throughout our stay so far and the room has been cleaned to a high standard every day. The windows have done a good job of keeping the noise out too - no mean feat with the lively water festival that's been taking place this week. We have an excellent bathroom too, including an enclosed toilet room and freestanding bathtub. The hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from Pub Street and the main riverside area of Siem Reap. The hotel's poolside areas, restaurants and receptions are tastefully and stylishly decorated, with lots of plants and shade/fans for some respite from the sun if needed.
The staff have been lovely, greeting us every time we go in and out of reception and being proactive about checking our plans and assisting wherever possible. They arranged a wonderful tour guide, named Lucky, and tuk tuk driver (Mr Bros) who drove us to and showed us around Angkor Wat and Ta Phrom, and back again the next day for a sunrise tour of the temples (hotel provided a packed breakfast for our 4:30am start). The spa here provides a great range of treatments too and we enjoyed some discounts off the already-reasonable prices (~$30 for 60 minute massages, before discounts). All in all it's been a wonderful introduction to beautiful Cambodia!

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. It is beautiful and enchanting from the moment you enter the open air entry/lobby pool area with gorgeous tropical Asian design features. The staff/service is truly amazing and so gracious. The food was also delicious and beautifully prepared. Our room was spacious and also so charming. Don't miss having one of their kunya massages. Quite an experience and quite a workout. Have never had a massage like this and wish it was available where I live. Staff were also very helpful in arranging tours for us and our guide, Mr La Rorn, was excellent in showing us Angkor Watt and including a wonderful sunset boat ride that included nice hor d'oeuvres and wine.

This was our second stay at Golden Temple Boutique- we came back because the customer service is outstanding. The staff all went above & beyond and we felt very spoilt & special. From our room welcome to surprise birthday cake & customized honeymoon T-shirts’ to wonderful breakfasts & takeaway snacks. The reception staff, restaurant staff & room service/clean staff were always happy & welcoming. The location of this accommodation is also just a bonus with being central walking distance to Pub street & some amazing little places to eat. We would highly recommend Golden Temple Boutique- you won’t be disappointed 🥰😀

Well, Golden Temple Boutique located in the best location right inside the Siem Reap city and it is really convenience for you to get to/from Siem Reap International Airport, just 20 minutes drive, 15 minutes to/from the World Heritage of Angkor Region and within walking distance to touristic area (old market, pub street, Angkor Night Market); however; you will find your stay here secluded from the outside busy streets and pedestrians due to the great location (on the edge of quieter street) and standard building complex (surrounded by thick wall).
