We stayed 3 nights at chose safari lodge in May 2015. We were welcomed on arrival with drinks and given an orientation before taken to the Boma area on the riverside for a buffet lunch. At orientation we were given a suggested itinerary of activities to do for our whole visit which included the morning the morning we left too.... More

This was my second time at Joe begin lunch in this time was even more spectacular than the first in 1988. Our guide DK was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about almost all the animals and especially knowledgeable regarding the birds. The waitstaff was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We highly recommend our guide DK was... More

We were camping in the campsite next to the hotel. Campsite is small and scruffy. It is always busy with over lander trucks and can get noisy. The abulution block is clean but when we were there no hot water! It was difficult to get any water around our site as one of the taps was out of order! Looked... More

Great location on the edge of the Chobe River and a short walk into town. We were in room 266, upstairs with view of lawn below where saw warthogs, vervet monkeys and mongoose. Buffet meals 3 times a day, with dinner being truly spectacular with a large variety of choices. Boat trips possible from here or other vendors along the... More

We toured Botswana for a few weeks staying in only Under One Botswana Sky hotels. The admin aside Chobe Safari Lodge is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the lodge borders Chobe which is why you are here, and the Buffet oh wow! I read some sour German tart wrote something stupid on here about the buffet but let... More

Chobe Sarari Lodge offers very good facilities. Food is fine (buffet style). Nice pool. But people are not as “welcoming and friendly” as other places we have been on our trip to South Africa. They are doing a “job”… We were a bit confused with the “full board” concept they offer as they charge meals to the room at the... More

Great experience with very generous room sizes &'amazing staff. My only minor gripe is that the wifi is only in reception area & the food options are geared toward the older clientele that frequent the hotel,, but otherwise all good

This is not luxury deluxe but it is lovely. Good value and excellent for river safari. We also took a land safari here. This area is so intense with wild life you will see it all. Take insect repellent! Take everything you need with you there are no shops. The staff are fabulous and have loads of information to share.

We stayed here for a few days, 6 of us, and really enjoyed it. This is probably 3 star but offers great value for money, with good tours available, really spacious and comfortable rooms, terrific food, and a nice pool area overlooking the river to rest up between trips. The only thing to keep in mind is as Chobe is... More
