Wonderful place, by the river, you can walk down, past the sometimes roaming warthogs to their boats on the river. Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable, with a refrigerator, charming entrances with vegetation. Eating pavilion is also nice, with tv for sports and news, and the food is quite good. I would definitely stay again if coming to this...

This is a small friendly family run business with amazing staff who make your holiday. We were travelling with 2 teens who wanted their own space so we had 2 rooms that backed onto each other with a double and a twin. Whilst the rooms are quite small they are perfectly adequate and come equipped with fridge, kettle and tea...

We did not stay at the Old House, but we ate there. We were staying at a fancy hotel down the road, which was quite nice, except the meals were terrible. A friend of ours from Gaborone told us to try The Old House and it was great. We ate there 2 evenings in a row. The staff were kind...

This small family run business is an excellent place to spend quality time with anyone you can think off. Kevin, Luke and Danny keeps it very warm and friendly atmosphere. My favorite place to eat and spend time with family!! The restaurant is excellent to eat at!

The Old House is a fairly compact establishment, with around 10 rooms, which are fairly small, but offers a good restaurant, very friendly staff and good facilities. The river cruise that we arranged with the lodge was a highlight of our trip. The property extends right to the river bank, but does not overlook the river directly; it is accessed...

The hotel was full when we visited. The room was simple but had everything we needed. The hotel is situated very close to the banks of the Chobe River and a short walk down a path past the pool gets you to the river edge. The restaurant is open air and set in a sheltered spot in front of the...

This was not our first visit to The Old House and again we found it to be a good home away from home. One little complaint was that, although we had called through the afternoon to indicate we would be arriving between 10:00 and 11:00 that evening, when we got there, the security guard did not know of our late...

The place is great. Every time we come they make more and new changes. Neat and clean place, nice gardens and friendly staff. Best pizza in town. Wi-Fi in a bit poor. Not reaching all the rooms so you have to go to public places which can be a bit of a pain.

We checked in to the Old House after 2 weeks of being spoilt in some beautiful lodges in Namibia, with large rooms and glorious vista's, so we felt claustrophobic when we saw the size of the room, which was smaller than the tented chalet's we had been in. To add to the disappointment The Old House was more expensive than...
